Spectral Distances: Results for Moyal Plane and Noncommutative Torus [PDF]
The spectral distance for noncommutative Moyal planes is considered in the framework of a non compact spectral triple recently proposed as a possible noncommutative analog of non compact Riemannian spin manifold.

Experimental characterization of three-band braid relations in non-Hermitian acoustic lattices
The nature of complex eigenenergy enables unique band topology in non-Hermitian (NH) lattices. Recently, there has been fast growing interest in the elusive winding and braiding topologies of the NH single and double bands, respectively. Here, we explore

Noncommutative topological theories of gravity [PDF]
The possibility of noncommutative topological gravity arising in the same manner as Yang-Mills theory is explored. We use the Seiberg-Witten map to construct such a theory based on a SL(2,C) complex connection, from which the Euler characteristic and the signature invariant are obtained.

The Coupling of Topology and Inflation in Noncommutative Cosmology [PDF]
We show that, in a model of modified gravity based on the spectral action functional, there is a nontrivial coupling between cosmic topology and inflation, in the sense that the shape of the possible slow-roll inflation potentials obtained in the model from the nonperturbative form of the spectral action are sensitive not only to the geometry (flat or ...

Noncommutative CW-spectra as enriched presheaves on matrix algebras
Motivated by the philosophy that C*-algebras reflect noncommutative topology, we investigate the stable homotopy theory of the (opposite) category of C*-algebras. We focus on C*-algebras which are noncommutative CW-complexes in the sense of Eilers et al.

Topological charges of noncommutative soliton [PDF]
The noncommutative soliton is characterized by the use of the projection operators in non-commutative space. By using the close relation with the K-theory of $C^*$-algebra, we consider the variations of projection operators along the commutative directions and identify their topological charges.

A noncommutative deformation of topological field theory [PDF]
Cohomological Yang-Mills theory is formulated on a noncommutative differentiable four manifold through the $θ$-deformation of its corresponding BRST algebra. The resulting noncommutative field theory is a natural setting to define the $θ$-deformation of Donaldson invariants and they are interpreted as a mapping between the Chevalley-Eilenberg homology ...

Quantum metric spaces of quantum maps
We show that any quantum family of quantum maps from a noncommutative space to a compact quantum metric space has a canonical quantum pseudo-metric structure.
