Noncommutative Topological Entropy of Endomorphisms of Cuntz Algebras [PDF]
Noncommutative topological entropy estimates are obtained for polynomial gauge invariant endomorphisms of Cuntz algebras, generalising known results for the canonical shift endomorphisms. Exact values for the entropy are computed for a class of permutative endomorphisms related to branching function systems introduced and studied by Bratteli, Jorgensen

A NOTE ON THE TOPOLOGICAL ORDER OF NONCOMMUTATIVE HALL FLUIDS [PDF]
We evaluate the ground state degeneracy of noncommutative Chern–Simons models on the two-torus, a quantity that is interpreted as the "topological order" of associated phases of Hall fluids. We define the noncommutative theory via T-duality from an ordinary Chern–Simons model with non-Abelian 't Hooft magnetic fluxes.

The noncommutative topology of one-dimensional spaces [PDF]
If \(X\) and \(Y\) are compact topological spaces, the unital star-homomorphisms from \(C(X)\) to \(C(Y)\) satisfy certain homotopy properties when X is an absolute neighborhood retract. We show that two of these properties still hold when \(C(Y)\) is replaced by a ``noncommutative space'', i.e.

On the cohomology of finite‐dimensional nilpotent groups and Lie rings
Abstract We establish vanishing results for the first cohomology group of nilpotent groups and Lie rings when the submodule of invariants is trivial. Our results are obtained within a model‐theoretic setting, namely for structures that are definable in a finite‐dimensional theory, which encompasses algebraic groups over algebraically closed fields ...

Tensorial permanence of K$K$‐stability for diagonal AH‐algebras
Abstract We study K$K$‐stability for tensor products of diagonal AH‐algebras with arbitrary C*‐algebras. Our main result provides a characterization of K$K$‐stability: For a diagonal AH‐algebra A=lim→(Ai,φi)$A = \varinjlim (A_i, \varphi _i)$, A⊗B$A \otimes B$ is K$K$‐stable for every C*‐algebra B$B$ if and only if the sizes of the matrix blocks in the ...

Quantum Frustration as a Protection Mechanism in Non‐Topological Majorana Qubits
Quantum frustration is proposed as a robust protection mechanism for non‐topological ‐junction qubit. By leveraging distinct spatial profiles, co‐located Majorana modes couple to independent environments, creating incompatible pointer bases that suppress decoherence.

Noncommutative localization in topology [PDF]
A survey of the applications of the noncommutative Cohn localization of rings to the topology of manifolds with infinite fundamental group, with particular emphasis on the algebraic K- and L-theory of generalized free products.

ABSTRACT The Lie group SE3$SE\left(3\right)$ of isometric orientation‐preserving transformation is used for modeling multibody systems, robots, and Cosserat continua. The use of these models in numerical simulation and optimization schemes necessitates the exponential map, its right‐trivialized differential (often referred to as the tangent operator ...
