Normal Mode Analysis of the Nonlinear Acoustic Wave Equation
Second-harmonic generation in non-linear media is investigated. A normal mode analysis is proposed based on the Westervelt equation under the second-order approximation in nonlinear acoustics.

Asymptotical approximation of one dimensional gas dynamics problem
We analyze nonlinear one dimensional gas dynamics system. The constructed asymptotic approximation which describes periodic acoustics waves resonant interaction is uniformly valid in the long time interval.

Nonlinear Thermotics:Designing Thermal Metamaterials with Temperature Response
Both nonlinear phenomenon and heat transfer are important topics in physics. However, there has not been a mature subject called "nonlinear thermotics" like its counterpart in optics or acoustics.

Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying
An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance. Raw materials are accelerated and melted in the plasma generated by torches, creating coatings. Monitoring sensors collect process data which are combined with ex situ characterization data.

Optical Signature of Moiré Superlattices Formed by Twisted SrTiO3 Membranes
We discover optical signatures from bonded interfaces in twisted SrTiO3 moiré superlattices, including low‐frequency Raman vibrational modes and strong second‐harmonic generation, consistent with strong interlayer coupling inferred from cross‐sectional electron microscopy and ab initio calculations. ABSTRACT Moiré superlattices formed at the interfaces
