Longitudinal genome‐wide aneuploidy measurements in circulating cell‐free DNA to predict lack of benefit from pembrolizumab in patients with metastatic urothelial cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Many patients with urothelial cancer do not benefit from treatment with pembrolizumab, while at risk of severe side effects. Changes in the levels of circulating tumor DNA early during treatment, measured by a simple and affordable assay that can be easily implemented in the clinic, can be used as a prognostic tool to identify these patients.

Shape Adjustment of a Large Planar Phased Array Antenna With Nonlinear Cable Actuators

open access: yesInternational Journal of Aerospace Engineering
Shape adjustment of large planar phased array antennas is significant because the shape distortion of phased arrays can greatly reduce the antenna’s gain in the observing direction.

Quantized‐feedback hands‐off control for nonlinear systems

open access: yesIET Control Theory & Applications, 2021
This paper addresses a quantized feedback hands‐off control for a class of nonlinear systems. Here, [K,KL] sector is constructed with the suitable choice of control‐Lyapunov function.

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

DESIGN AND EXPERIMENTAL ANALYSIS OF A NONLINEAR ULTRAHARMONIC VIBRATOR EXCITER

open access: yesJixie qiangdu, 2022
Aiming at the problem that the vibration frequency of conventional vibration exciter is small and can not realize the resonance of high stiffness components, Based on the superharmonic vibration characteristics of nonlinear vibration system, designed a ...

Nonlinear error correction, asymmetric adjusment and cointegration [PDF]

open access: yes, 1991
This paper has three main components. First, it outlines a model of nonlinear error correction (NEC) in which the linear error correction term a'Xt (the vector time series Xt is cointegrated, a is the cointegrating vector) is replaced by the nonlinear ...

C2α‐carbanion‐protonating glutamate discloses tradeoffs between substrate accommodation and reaction rate in actinobacterial 2‐hydroxyacyl‐CoA lyase

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Enzymes of the 2‐hydroxyacyl‐CoA lyase group catalyze the condensation of formyl‐CoA with aldehydes or ketones. Thus, by structural adaptation of active sites, practically any pharmaceutically and industrially important 2‐hydroxyacid could be biotechnologically synthesized. Combining crystal structure analysis, active site mutations and kinetic assays,

Data Quality Assessment of Time-Variable Surface Microgravity Surveys in the Southeastern Tibetan Plateau

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
Ground-based time-variable gravimetry with high accuracy is an important approach in monitoring geodynamic processes. The uncertainty of instruments including scale factor (SF) and drift rate are the primary factors affect the quality of observation data.

Establishing an assay to evaluate d‐amino acid oxidase enzyme kinetics and inhibition using WST‐8 redox dye

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This study investigated a novel WST‐8‐based assay for evaluating d‐Amino acid oxidase (DAO) inhibitors. We confirmed its effectiveness using known inhibitors and found that uremic toxins possess relatively weak inhibitory activity compared to existing drugs.

Nonlinear Midlatitude Ocean Adjustment

open access: yesJournal of Physical Oceanography, 2003
Abstract Ocean adjustment on annual to interdecadal scales to variable forcing is considered for a more nonlinear general circulation than has previously been studied. The nature of the response is a strong function of forcing frequency and importantly involves the inertial recirculations rather than linear baroclinic waves.
