Some inequalities and superposition operator in the space of regulated functions

open access: yesAdvances in Nonlinear Analysis, 2019
Some inequalities connected to measures of noncompactness in the space of regulated function R(J, E) were proved in the paper. The inequalities are analogous of well known estimations for Hausdorff measure and the space of continuous functions.

A Study of Nonlinear Fractional-Order Boundary Value Problem with Nonlocal Erdelyi-Kober and Generalized Riemann-Liouville Type Integral Boundary Conditions

open access: yesMathematical Modelling and Analysis, 2017
We investigate a new kind of nonlocal boundary value problems of nonlinear Caputo fractional differential equations supplemented with integral boundary conditions involving Erdelyi-Kober and generalized Riemann-Liouville fractional integrals.

Simplicial Nonlinear Principal Component Analysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We present a new manifold learning algorithm that takes a set of data points lying on or near a lower dimensional manifold as input, possibly with noise, and outputs a simplicial complex that fits the data and the manifold.

Brainstem and Cerebellar Volume Loss and Associated Clinical Features in Progressive Supranuclear Palsy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) is a neurodegenerative ‘tauopathy’ with predominating pathology in the basal ganglia and midbrain. Caudal tau spread frequently implicates the cerebellum; however, the pattern of atrophy remains equivocal.

Fluid Biomarkers of Disease Burden and Cognitive Dysfunction in Progressive Supranuclear Palsy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Identifying objective biomarkers for progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) is crucial to improving diagnosis and establishing clinical trial and treatment endpoints. This study evaluated fluid biomarkers in PSP versus controls and their associations with regional 18F‐PI‐2620 tau‐PET, clinical, and cognitive outcomes.

The superposition operator in the space of functions continuous and converging at infinity on the real half-axis

open access: yesAdvances in Nonlinear Analysis, 2019
We will consider the so-called superposition operator in the space CC(ℝ+) of real functions defined, continuous on the real half-axis ℝ+ and converging to finite limits at infinity.

Analysis of nonlinear oscillators using volterra series in the frequency domain Part I : convergence limits [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The Volterra series representation is a direct generalisation of the linear convolution integral and has been widely applied in the analysis and design of nonlinear systems, both in the time and the frequency domain.

Sarilumab in Polyarticular‐Course Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis: Dose‐Finding and 1‐Year Analysis of a Phase 2b, Open‐Label, Multicenter Study

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective This study assessed sarilumab in treating patients with polyarticular‐course juvenile idiopathic arthritis (pcJIA). Methods This phase 2b, open‐label study (NCT02776735) consisted of three sequential parts (each with a core‐treatment and extension phase).

The influence of thermal and conductive temperatures in a nanoscale resonator

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2018
In this work, the thermoelastic interaction in a nano-scale resonator based on two-temperature Green-Naghdi model is established. The nanoscale resonator ends were simply supported.

An Extension of Slow Feature Analysis for Nonlinear Blind Source Separation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We present and test an extension of slow feature analysis as a novel approach to nonlinear blind source separation. The algorithm relies on temporal correlations and iteratively reconstructs a set of statistically independent sources from arbitrary ...
