Nonlinear Bending of the Block Spherical Reticulated Shells with Damage under the Transverse Load

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2016
Based on theory of Lemaitre’s equivalent strain of the damage and with the damage of bars of the block reticulated spherical shell, the nonlinear bending problem of the block reticulated shells considering damage with rectangular bottom was studied under

Numerical simulation for nonlinear radiative flow by convective cylinder

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2016
Present study explores the effect of nonlinear thermal radiation and magnetic field in boundary layer flow of viscous fluid due to nonlinear stretching cylinder. An incompressible fluid occupies the porous medium.

New AI‐Assisted Approach for Expanding the Solution Space: Application to Lattice Structure Design

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces an innovative framework for designing structured materials by ex panding the design space through reparameterization of qualitative variables into continuous structural descriptors. Combined with machine‐learning‐based prediction and multi‐objective optimization, the approach enables the discovery of novel lattice architectures ...

Existence of nodal solutions to some nonlinear boundary value problems for ordinary differential equations of fourth order

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations
In this paper, we study the existence of nodal solutions of some nonlinear boundary value problems for ordinary differential equations of fourth order with a spectral parameter in the boundary condition.

Hölder inequality applied on a non-Newtonian fluid equation with a nonlinear convection term and a source term

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2018
Consider a non-Newtonian fluid equation with a nonlinear convection term and a source term. The existence of the weak solution is proved by Simon’s compactness theorem.

Quasilinear Parabolic Systems with Nonlinear Boundary Conditions

open access: yesJournal of Differential Equations, 2000
Let \(\Omega\) be a smoothly bounded domain in \(\mathbb{R}^n\) with unit outward normal \(\eta\), and let \(M_i> 0\), \(\alpha_i\), and \(m_{ij}\) be nonnegative constants for \(i,j=1,\dots, n\). This paper is considered with the initial-boundary value problem \[ \begin{gathered} \frac {\partial u_i}{\partial t} = \nabla(u_i^{\alpha ^i}\nabla u_i ...

Multiple boundary peak solutions for some singularly perturbed Neumann problems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
We consider the problem \left \{ \begin{array}{rcl} \varepsilon^2 \Delta u - u + f(u) = 0 & \mbox{ in }& \ \Omega\\ u > 0 \ \mbox{ in} \ \Omega, \ \frac{\partial u}{\partial \nu} = 0 & \mbox{ on }& \ \partial\Omega, \end{array} \right. where \

Microstructure Modification of Additively Manufactured Mo–9Si–8B by Annealing and Its Effects on High‐Temperature Mechanical Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Postbuild annealing systematically modifies the phase fractions and morphology of EB‐PBF processed Mo–9Si–8B. Quantitative microstructure–property correlations reveal how controlled phase evolution enhances high‐temperature compressive strength and creep resistance.
