Laplace problem with an exponential nonlinear boundary condition

open access: yes
In this paper, we establish a new result for the Laplace problem with exponential Robin boundary conditions posed on the unit disk in $\R^2$. More precisely, we prove the existence and uniqueness of a solution under suitable smallness assumptions on the boundary data.

Decellularized Extracellular Matrix (dECM) in Tendon Regeneration: A Comprehensive Review

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Decellularized Extracellular Matrix (dECM) offers a promising solution by replicating the native tendon microenvironment and promoting regeneration. This review highlights advances in the decellularization methods, as well as their integration with emerging technologies and translational progress in tendon tissue engineering.

Cellular Responses to Mechanical Cues Across Scales: From Fundamental Insights to Translational Potential

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This review examines how cellular behavior is regulated by mechanical cues transmitted through soft biomaterials, from single‐cell mechanosensing to tissue‐level adaptation. It highlights why physiological relevance, rather than model complexity alone, is critical for translational mechanobiology and introduces a scoring framework linking material ...

A Signed Maximum Principle for Boundary Value Problems for Riemann–Liouville Fractional Differential Equations with Analogues of Neumann or Periodic Boundary Conditions

open access: yesMathematics
Sufficient conditions are obtained for a signed maximum principle for boundary value problems for Riemann–Liouville fractional differential equations with analogues of Neumann or periodic boundary conditions in neighborhoods of simple eigenvalues.

On Nonlinear Parabolic Equations with Nonlocal Boundary Condition

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1994
Let \(\emptyset \neq \Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^ n\) be a bounded domain with \(C^ 2\)-boundary and \(T > 0\). Of concern is the semilinear second order initial-boundary value problem \[ \begin{alignedat}{2} \partial_ tu(t,x) - A(t)u(t,x) & = f \bigl( t,x,u(t,x) \bigr), &\qquad (t,x) &\in (0,T) \times \Omega, \\ u(t,x) & = \int_ \Omega \Phi (x,y) u(t,y)

Quadratic approximation of solutions for differential equations with nonlinear boundary conditions

open access: yes, 2004
The quasilinearization method is used for nonlinear ordinary differential equations with nonlinear boundary conditions. Given are sufficient conditions when corresponding monotone sequences converge to the unique solution and this convergence is ...
