Nonlinear Conductance-Volume Relationship for Murine Conductance Catheter Measurement System [PDF]
The conductance catheter system is a tool to determine instantaneous left ventricular volume in vivo by converting measured conductance to volume. The currently adopted conductance-to-volume conversion equation was proposed by Baan, and the accuracy of this equation is limited by the assumption of a linear conductance-volume relationship.

Investigation of electrical properties of ZnO@Ag/EPDM composites
In this study, Ag conductive nanoparticles were successfully grown on ZnO semi-conductive nanosheets (abbreviated as ZnO@Ag) by combined sol–gel and liquid-phase chemical reduction methods.

Since mass diffusivity and thermal conductivity cannot be considered constants in practical analysis, an existing heat and mass transfer model of unsteady mixed convection flow over a stretching sheet is modified by incorporating the effects of nonlinear

Temperature dependence of thermal conductivity in 1D nonlinear lattices
We examine the temperature dependence of thermal conductivity of one dimensional nonlinear (anharmonic) lattices with and without on-site potential. It is found from computer simulation that the heat conductivity depends on temperature via the strength ...

Nonlinear Ionic Conductivity of Thin Solid Electrolyte Samples: Comparison between Theory and Experiment [PDF]
Nonlinear conductivity effects are studied experimentally and theoretically for thin samples of disordered ionic conductors. Following previous work in this field the {\it experimental nonlinear conductivity} of sodium ion conducting glasses is analyzed ...

Nonlinear electrical transport phenomena as fingerprints of a topological phase transition in ZrTe5
Topological phase transitions, influenced by magnetic fields, dopants, pressure, and temperature, create Berry curvature in band structures, challenging to detect due to resolution and scattering issues in spectroscopy and transport.

Theory of longitudinal and transverse nonlinear dc conductivity
Kohn's theory of Drude conductivity, established in a many-body framework, addresses even systems with disorder and correlation, besides the ordinary band metals (i.e., crystalline systems of independent electrons).

In the paper, we make the first attempt to derive a family of two-parameter homogenization functions in the doubly connected domain, which is then applied as the bases of trial solutions for the inverse conductivity problems.

Nonlinear transport theory in the metal with tunnel barrier
Within the framework of the scattering matrix formalism the nonlinear Kubo theory for electron transport in the metal with a tunnel barrier has been considered. A general expression for the mean electrical current was obtained.

General nonlinear Hall current in magnetic insulators beyond the quantum anomalous Hall effect
Can a generic magnetic insulator exhibit a Hall current? The quantum anomalous Hall effect (QAHE) is one example of an insulating bulk carrying a quantized Hall conductivity while insulators with zero Chern number present zero Hall conductance in the ...
