Fixed point results for contractions of polynomial type

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica
We introduce two new classes of single-valued contractions of polynomial type defined on a metric space. For the first one, called the class of polynomial contractions, we establish two fixed point theorems.

On Multi-Valued Nonlinear Quasi-Contractions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
In this paper we give new fixed point theorem for multi-valued nonlinear quasi -contractions which generalizes results presented in Arand -elovic, Rajovic Mathematics Subject Classification: 54H25 ...

Existence of fixed points of large MR-Kannan contractions in Banach Spaces

open access: yesApplied General Topology
The purpose of this paper is to introduce the class of large MR-Kannan contractions on Banach space that contains the classes of Kannan, enriched Kannan, large Kannan, MR-Kannan contractions and some other classes of nonlinear operators.

Fuzzy contractions of Suzuki type and a characterization of fuzzy metric completeness

open access: yes, 2022
[EN] In this note we introduce a class of fuzzy contractions of Suzuki type from which a fixed point theorem is proved. As a product of our approach, a characterization of a large class of complete fuzzy metric spaces is obtained.Romaguera Bonilla, S ...

Fundamental contractions in suprametric spaces: Analysis and applications

open access: yes
In this manuscript, we propose the notion of a strong extended s-suprametric space, a novel extension that outperforms both s-suprametric and extended suprametric spaces. It looks into the aspects of open and closed ball topologies within this structure.

Parameter estimation in nonlinear AR–GARCH models [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper develops an asymptotic estimation theory for nonlinear autoregressive models with conditionally heteroskedastic errors. We consider a general nonlinear autoregression of order p (AR(p)) with the conditional variance specified as a general ...

Tripled Fixed Point Results in Generalized Metric Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2012
We establish a tripled fixed point result for a mixed monotone mapping satisfying nonlinear contractions in ordered generalized metric spaces. Also, some examples are given to support our result.

Fixed Point Results for Large Closed Four-Step Orbital Contractions in Metric Spaces

open access: yesMathematics
This paper introduces a higher-order orbital framework in fixed point theory based on a closed four-step orbital functional. Existing approaches, such as triangle-perimeter contractions, mainly rely on three-point configurations and first-order geometric

A contractive approach in generalized suprametric spaces with applications to fractional boundary value and epidemiological problems

open access: yesResults in Physics
This manuscript analyzes Reich, Ćirić, and Banach contractions in complete extended suprametric spaces by using the Fw-class of functions. We establish new fixed point theorems for these Fw−contractions, extending classical results in a generalized ...
