Nonlinear damping of injection oscillations [PDF]
The theory of a transverse feedback system with a nonlinear regime of injection oscillations damping in circular accelerators and colliders is described. For this feedback loop the dependence between the kick value in the deflector and the beam deviation at the pick-up location is a nonlinear function.

Spectrally Tunable 2D Material‐Based Infrared Photodetectors for Intelligent Optoelectronics
Intelligent optoelectronics through spectral engineering of 2D material‐based infrared photodetectors. Abstract The evolution of intelligent optoelectronic systems is driven by artificial intelligence (AI). However, their practical realization hinges on the ability to dynamically capture and process optical signals across a broad infrared (IR) spectrum.

Spatially Tailorable Liquid Crystalline Elastomer Alignment During Digital Light Process 3D Printing
Here, we report the fabrication of 3D printable liquid crystalline elastomer (LCE) structures with spatially tailorable alignment domains within the same layer. This work addresses the long‐standing challenge of preparing complex 3D LCE architectures with patterned functional domains to achieve nonlinear deformations. Fabrication of multi‐domains in 3D

Role of stable modes in driven shear-flow turbulence
A linearly unstable, sinusoidal $E \times B$ shear flow is examined in the gyrokinetic framework in both the linear and nonlinear regimes. In the linear regime, it is shown that the eigenmode spectrum is nearly identical to hydrodynamic shear flows, with

Effect of the viscous damping on the seismic response of Low-rise RC frame building
The equivalent viscous damping is a key parameter in the prediction of the maximum nonlinear response. Damping constitutes a major source of uncertainty in dynamic analysis. This paper studies the effect of using viscous damping, on the reduction of the

Does a Morphotropic Phase Boundary Exist in ZrxHf1‐xO2‐Based Thin Films?
This study investigates 6 nm zirconium‐rich hafnium‐zirconium oxide thin–film metal–insulator–metal capacitors using a combination of experimental methods and machine learning–based molecular dynamics simulations to provide insight into the physical mechanisms that enhance the dielectric constant near 0 V and attribute it to the field‐induced ...

In this report, we demonstrate that a crystalline phase of 52nm thick NiFe2O4 can be grown by RF sputtering on top of γ‐Al2O3(8nm)/SrTiO3 at a significantly low temperature (150 °C) without compromising the mobility and carrier density of the 2D electron gas at the γ‐Al2O3(8nm)/SrTiO3 interface.
