CT‐based finite element simulations combined with in situ X‐ray computed tomography are used to analyze insert pull‐out in nickel‐coated polymer foams. Despite variations in material parameters, deformation consistently concentrates within a narrow annular region around the insert.

Design of a Multistable Finger Prosthesis with Programmable Metamaterials
This research article shows the development of a multistable programmble metamaterial for the use as a finger prosthesis. The material was designed on different hierarchical levels where the influence of geometrical parameters and combination of mechanical elements was explored.

h-Stability of Nonlinear Hilfer Nabla Fractional Difference Equations
This paper investigates the h-stability of nonlinear Hilfer nabla fractional difference equations, which interpolate between the Riemann–Liouville and Caputo nabla fractional differences through an additional type parameter. To the best of our knowledge,

Dynamics of a Family of Nonlinear Delay Difference Equations
We study the global asymptotic stability of the following difference equation: xn+1=f(xn-k1,xn-k2,…,xn-ks;xn-m1,xn-m2,…,xn-mt),n=0,1,…, where 0 ...

Morphology, Transport, and Dynamics of Protein Adsorption in Open‐Cell Metal Foam
Stainless steel (SS) open‐cell foams are shown to adsorb more protein per unit area than previously reported 316L SS and chromium oxide surfaces under static and flow conditions. An integrated approach combining 3D pore imaging, flow simulation, and protein adsorption experiments characterizes the foam’s performance.

An Iterative Finite Difference Method for Solving Nonlinear Gordon-Type Problems
This paper introduces an enhanced Iterative Finite Difference (IFD) method for efficiently solving strongly nonlinear, time-dependent problems. Extending the original IFD framework for nonlinear ordinary differential equations, we generalize the approach

Elastic–Plastic Modeling and Experimental Characterization of Granular Jamming Actuators
Granular jamming enables rapid switching between soft and rigid mechanical states. Here, a reduced‐order elastic‐perfectly‐plastic beam framework captures pressure‐dependent loading, unloading, residual deformation, and hysteresis in jammed beams, while matching three‐point bending experiments across materials and geometries. The framework links design

We consider a splitting finite-difference scheme for an initial-boundary value problem for a two-dimensional nonlinear evolutionary equation. The problem is split into nonlinear and linear parts. The linear part is also split into locally one-dimensional
