Three Results on the Nonlinear Differential Equations and Differential-Difference Equations
We mainly study the transcendental entire solutions of the differential equation f n ( z ) + P ( f ) = p 1 e α 1 z + p 2 e α 2 z , where p 1 , p 2 , α 1 and α 2 are nonzero

In this study, a novel esterase from the thermoacidophilic archaeon Thermoplasma acidophilum was biochemically and structurally characterized. Our results demonstrate that Ta0887 is a highly thermostable esterase that preferentially hydrolyzes p‐nitrophenyl hexanoate and possesses an α‐helical cap domain that likely contributes to its substrate ...

Dynamics of a Higher‐Order Nonlinear Difference Equation [PDF]
We consider the higher‐order nonlinear difference equation xn+1 = (α + xn)/(A + Bxn + xn−k), n = 0, 1, …, where parameters are positive real numbers and initial conditions x−k, …, x0 are nonnegative real numbers, k ≥ 2. We investigate the periodic character, the invariant intervals, and the global asymptotic stability of all positive solutions of the ...

Type I interferons modulate autophagy to shape gemcitabine response in pancreatic cancer cells
Type I interferons differentially modulate autophagy and the response of pancreatic cancer cells to gemcitabine. IFNα2b stimulates autophagic flux and protects cells from gemcitabine‐induced cell death, contributing to chemoresistance. In contrast, IFNβ1a inhibits autophagosome formation and enhances gemcitabine‐induced cell death, resulting in ...

Global attractivity in a nonlinear difference equation
Consider the nonlinear difference equation \[ \text{(E)} \qquad x_ n = a + \sum^ m_{k=1} {b_ k \over x_ n - k}\qquad(n = 0,1,2, \dots) \] where \(a, b_ 1,\dots,b_ m\) are nonnegative numbers with \(b = \sum^ m_{k=1} b_ k > 0\). The equation has a unique positive equilibrium point \(L = {a \over 2} + \sqrt {({a \over 2})^ 2 + B}\).

Characterization of the key membrane protein cytochrome Cyc2 from Ghiorsea bivora
This study reports the first detailed biochemical analysis of Cyc2TAG1_1, a cytochrome protein involved in microbial iron oxidation. We produced and purified this enzyme in E. coli, then measured its iron‐oxidizing efficiency, and characterized its electrical and structural properties.

Stability of a Class of Nonlinear Difference Equations
Using KAM theory, the authors investigate the stability nature of the zero equilibrium of the system of two nonlinear difference equations \[ \left.\begin{matrix} x_{n+1}=a_1x_n+b_1y_n+f(c_1x_n+c_2y_n)=F_1(x_n,y_n)\\ y_{n+1}=a_2x_n+b_2y_n+f(c_1x_n+c_2y_n)=F_2(x_n,y_n)\end{matrix} \right\}, \quad n=0,1,\dots, \tag{*} \] \(n=0,1,2,\dots\), where \(a_i ...
