Nonlinear integro-differential equations
Summary: The continuous Legendre wavelets constructed on the interval \([0,1]\) are used to solve the nonlinear Fredholm integrodifferential equation. The nonlinear part of integro-differential is approximated by Legendre wavelets, and the nonlinear integro-differential is reduced to a system of nonlinear equations.

Frailty Predicts Incident Osteoporotic Fractures in Veterans with Rheumatoid Arthritis
Objective Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is associated with an increased risk of frailty and osteoporosis, but the relationship between frailty and incident osteoporotic fractures in RA is underexplored. Methods Data were from the Veterans Affairs (VA) Rheumatoid Arthritis Registry. Frailty was measured using the VA Frailty Index (VAFI).

When Nonlinear Differential Equations are Equivalent to Linear Differential Equations [PDF]
A necessary and sufficient condition is established for the existence of a 1-1 transformation of a system of nonlinear differential equations to a system of linear equations. The obtained theorems enable one to construct such transformations from the invariance groups of differential equations.

Objective Youth who experience a sport‐related knee injury have elevated odds of becoming overweight or developing obesity in 3 to 10 years, compounding their risk for posttraumatic osteoarthritis (PTOA). To inform prevention strategies, this study compared patterns of adiposity change between youth with a sport‐related knee injury and uninjured youth ...

A Q‐Learning Algorithm to Solve the Two‐Player Zero‐Sum Game Problem for Nonlinear Systems
A Q‐learning algorithm to solve the two‐player zero‐sum game problem for nonlinear systems. ABSTRACT This paper deals with the two‐player zero‐sum game problem, which is a bounded L2$$ {L}_2 $$‐gain robust control problem. Finding an analytical solution to the complex Hamilton‐Jacobi‐Issacs (HJI) equation is a challenging task.

This article proposes a convergent adaptive observer for a damped wave PDE and an infinite‐dimensional ODE coupled in cascade using sampled‐in‐space ODE state measurements. The proposed observer estimates the distributed states of the PDE and ODE along with unknown PDE parameters and spatial input.

Observer‐Based Adaptive Event‐Triggered Tracking Control for Fuzzy TS Systems With Premise Mismatch
This paper presents an adaptive logistic event‐triggered observer‐based tracking controller for Takagi‐Sugeno fuzzy systems under constrained inputs and network delays. Leveraging a hybrid LMI and Secretary Bird Optimization approach, this strategy significantly minimizes communication overhead and computational burden while ensuring optimal reference ...
