Optical Signature of Moiré Superlattices Formed by Twisted SrTiO3 Membranes
We discover optical signatures from bonded interfaces in twisted SrTiO3 moiré superlattices, including low‐frequency Raman vibrational modes and strong second‐harmonic generation, consistent with strong interlayer coupling inferred from cross‐sectional electron microscopy and ab initio calculations. ABSTRACT Moiré superlattices formed at the interfaces

Nonlinear dimensionality reduction of gene expression data [Elektronisk resurs] [PDF]
Using microarray measurements techniques, it is possible to measure the activity of genes simultaneously across the whole genome. Since genes influence each others activity levels through complex regulatory networks, such gene expression measurements are

Video Analysis Via Nonlinear Dimensionality Reduction [PDF]
In this work we present an application of nonlinear dimensionality reduction techniques for video analysis. We review several methods for dimensionality reduction and then concentrate on the study of Diffusion Maps. First we show how diffusion maps can be applied to video analysis.

An All‐Textile, Mechano‐Capacitive Subtle Movement Sensor
A robust all‐textile capacitive sensor is introduced for measuring subtle body movements without long‐term degradation. By separating mechanical deformation from electrical sensing elements, accuracy, responsiveness, and durability are improved. Simple fabrication methods are presented, electrode effects are analyzed, and performance is validated ...

Implantable Ionic Memristors Based on Natural Polymer Heterojunctions
We report an implantable natural polymer‐based ionic memristor composed of hyaluronic acid, chitosan, and PDMS. The device achieved 98.94% accuracy in MNIST classification while reducing training time by 36.8% compared with a conventional artificial neural network (ANN).

Low-Rank Kernel-Based Semisupervised Discriminant Analysis
Semisupervised Discriminant Analysis (SDA) aims at dimensionality reduction with both limited labeled data and copious unlabeled data, but it may fail to discover the intrinsic geometry structure when the data manifold is highly nonlinear.

A piezoelectric microacoustic wave device exploiting topologically protected interface states with significantly higher dynamic compliance than Lamb or Rayleigh modes achieves record‐high out‐of‐plane particle velocities exceeding 51 m/s. These findings indicate that leveraging topological interface states can overcome key limitations of piezoelectric ...
