A flexible piezoresistive pressure sensor with gradient toroidal CNT/PDMS microstructures is reported. The hierarchical geometry enables sequential electrode contact, achieving a sensitivity of 256.20 kPa−1 and linear response (R2 = 0.99) over 0–1000 kPa.

This paper presents an agar medium with a phosphorescent grid pattern that measures the stress distribution generated by growing plant roots. Using phosphorescence, the system optically separates the grid pattern from the root and extracts the grid deformation.

Nonlinear Actomyosin Elasticity in Muscle?
Cyclic interactions between myosin II motor domains and actin filaments that are powered by turnover of ATP underlie muscle contraction and have key roles in motility of nonmuscle cells.

The elasticity of bearings as well as their clearance have an essential influence on the total arrow and, therefore, on their own pulsation. In most of the literature, this elasticity is neglected in the calculation of shaft deflections.

Optical Manipulation of Whispering Gallery Mode Microlasers for Controlled Cellular Delivery
Optically trapped whispering‑gallery microlasers are precisely positioned onto non‐phagocytic mammalian cells to report local refractive‑index changes in real time. Time‑dependent wavelength shifts reveal successive stages from membrane contact to internalization.

From Rigid to Soft Robotic Approaches for Neuroendoscopy
Robotic assistance has had minimal impact on deep intraventricular surgeries, where small‐scale, precision, and reduced invasiveness can contribute to improved patient outcomes. Emerging technologies in rigid, soft, and hybrid robotics are reviewed to identify the most promising mechanisms for deep brain navigation in addition to an attempt to identify
