Nonlinear Free Vibration of a Spinning Tether
This paper considers nonlinear free vibration of a spinning tether. The tether is a part of a tethered satellite system spinning at a constant rate about its nominal longitudinal axis. Using Hamilton’s principle, the governing equations of motion are derived for the station-keeping phase retaining the nonlinear terms up to the third order.

Sustained Self-Powered Real-Time Vibration Monitoring Through Integrated Nonlinear Harvesting and Energy-Aware Wireless Sensing. [PDF]
A self‐powered vibration sensing platform integrates a quasi‐zero‐stiffness piezoelectric harvester, synchronized electric charge extraction, energy management, and wireless ADC acquisition. Ambient vibration is simultaneously harvested as energy and digitized as information, enabling sustained real‐time waveform monitoring without external power.

Nonlinear longitudinal/transversal modal interactions in highly extensible suspended cables [PDF]
Recent research literature mostly deals with nonlinear resonant dynamics of low-extensible cables involving transversal modes. Herein, we aim to investigate geometrically nonlinear longitudinal/transversal modal interactions in highly extensible ...

A Semi-Analytical Nonlinear Approach for Size-Dependent Analysis of Longitudinal Vibration in Terms of Axially Functionally Graded Nanorods [PDF]
In this paper, the size dependency of the nonlinear free longitudinal vibration of axially functionally graded (AFG) nanorods is studied using the nonlocal elasticity theory.

Research on One-to-Two Internal Resonance of Sling and Beam of Suspension Sling–Beam System
An approach is presented to investigate the 1:2 internal resonance of the sling and beam of a suspension sling–beam system. The beam was taken as the geometrically linear Euler beam, and the sling was considered to be geometrically nonlinear. The dynamic
