We firstly give some new functions called generalized hyperbolic functions. By the using of the generalized hyperbolic functions, new kinds of transformations are defined to discover the exact approximate solutions of nonlinear partial differential ...

In this article, we study and investigate the analytical solutions of the space-time nonlinear fractional modified KDV-Zakharov-Kuznetsov (mKDV-ZK) equation.

Nonlinear multidimensional parabolic-hyperbolic equations
Summary: This paper deals with the coupling of a quasilinear parabolic problem with a first order hyperbolic one in a multidimensional bounded domain \(\Omega\). In a region \(\Omega_{p}\) a diffusion-advection-reaction type equation is set while in the complementary \(\Omega_h\equiv \Omega \backslash \Omega_{p}\), only advection-reaction terms are ...

Tumbling Magnetic Microrobots for Targeted In Vivo Drug Delivery in the GI Tract
We introduce a microrobot design and integrated system for on‐demand targeted drug release in the gastrointestinal tract. The microrobot has an embedded magnet for actuation with external magnetic fields and is visualized in real time using ultrasound. It has two drug release ports sealed with a thermally sensitive wax. Local heating of the wax using a

New solutions to a category of nonlinear PDEs
The nonlinear partial differential equations are not only used in many physical models, but also fundamentally applied in the field of nonlinear science. In order to solve certain nonlinear partial differential equation, the extended hyperbolic auxiliary

Dispersive estimates and NLS on product manifolds
We prove a general dispersive estimate for a Schroedinger type equation on a product manifold, under the assumption that the equation restricted to each factor satisfies suitable dispersive estimates.

Compliant Pneumatic Feet with Real‐Time Stiffness Adaptation for Humanoid Locomotion
A compliant pneumatic foot with real‐time variable stiffness enables humanoid robots to adapt to changing terrains. Using onboard vision and pressure control, the foot modulates stiffness within each gait cycle, reducing impact forces and improving balance. The design, cast in soft silicone with embedded air chambers and Kevlar wrapping, offers durable,

A Soft Robotic Device for Targeted Massage Therapy of Residual Limbs
Residual limb edema after amputation can hinder recovery and delay prosthetic fitting. This study presents a soft‐robotic wearable device that delivers sequential compression through pneumatic McKibben actuators. By replicating the principles of manual lymphatic drainage, the device generates controlled mechanotherapeutic pressure patterns, providing a

Bounded solutions of nonlinear hyperbolic equations with time delay
We consider the initial value problem $$\displaylines{ \frac{d^{2}u}{dt^{2}}+Au(t)=f(u(t),u(t-w)), \quad t>0, \cr u(t)=\varphi (t),\quad -w\leq t\leq 0 }$$ for a nonlinear hyperbolic equation with time delay in a Hilbert space with the self adjoint

Weighted least-squares approximationsto nonlinear hyperbolic equations
The author considers a one-dimensional conservation law and a companion problem obtained by adding a small viscosity term. A numerical method based on time discretization and subsequent weighted least-squares finite element approximation is proposed and studied. The stability and the convergence of the method are shown in an appropriate norm.
