Influence of Yield Strength Variability over Cross-Section to Steel Beam Load-Carrying Capacity [PDF]
Authors of article analysed influence of variability of yield strength over cross-section of hot rolled steel member to its load-carrying capacity. In calculation models, the yield strength is usually taken as constant.

Reduction of nonlinear models for control applications
A systematic approach to the model reduction of high-fidelity fluid-structure-flight models and the subsequent flight control design for very flexible aircraft is considered. The test case is for an unmanned aerial vehicle.

Development of Low-Voltage Load Models for the Residential Load Sector [PDF]
A bottom-up modeling approach is presented that uses a Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) method to develop demand profiles. The demand profiles are combined with the electrical characteristics of the appliance to create detailed time-varying models of ...

NONLINEAR VIBRATION OF A SMALL-SAG CABLE SUBJECTED TO AN AXIAL TIME-VARYING LOAD AND TRANSVERSE TIME-VARYING LOAD [PDF]

The proposed mechanism of action for the CDK12/13 inhibitor and cyclin K degrader, CT7439. CDK12/13 inhibition interrupts transcription elongation, leading to increased DNA damage that results in cell death. This agent is a potentially novel treatment option for patients with colorectal cancer. Created in BioRender. Cyclin‐dependent kinase (CDK) 12 and

Circulating microRNA profiles distinguish nonmalignant Lynch syndrome from cancer‐associated Lynch syndrome, sporadic colorectal cancer, and healthy controls. Age‐stratified analysis reveals disease‐specific regulatory states, and a six‐miRNA panel shows concordant separation in an independent colorectal tissue cohort.

Fuzzy Sets Theory in Comparison with Stochastic Methods to Analyse Nonlinear Behaviour of a Steel Member under Compression [PDF]
The load-carrying capacity of the member with imperfections under axial compression is analysed in the present paper. The study is divided into two parts: (i) in the first one, the input parameters are considered to be random numbers (with distribution ...

Robust load frequency control of nonlinear power networks [PDF]
This paper proposes a decentralised second-order sliding mode (SOSM) control strategy for load frequency control (LFC) in power networks, regulating the frequency and maintaining the net inter-area power flows at their scheduled values. The considered power network is partitioned into control areas, where each area is modelled by an equivalent ...
