The stability of solutions to delay differential equations in Banach spaces
Background. The work is devoted to the analysis of stability in the sense Lyapunov of steady-state solutions of nonlinear differential equations in Banach spaces with time-dependent operators and with time-dependent delays.

The mechanical properties of wrought magnesium alloys depend on their microstructure, particularly the grain size and its distribution. Conventional modeling methods struggle to accurately predict the complex physical relationship between them.

Nonlinear properties of AlGaAs waveguides in continuous wave operation regime [PDF]
Aluminum Gallium Arsenide (AlGaAs) is an attractive platform for the development of integrated optical circuits for all-optical signal processing thanks to its large nonlinear coefficients in the 1.55-μm telecommunication spectral region. In this paper we discuss the results of the nonlinear continuous-wave optical characterization of AlGaAs waveguides

STRUCTURALLY ADAPTIVE MATHEMATICAL MORPHOLOGY BASED ON NONLINEAR SCALE-SPACE DECOMPOSITIONS
Standard formulation of morphological operators is translation invariant in the space and in the intensity: the same processing is considered for each point of the image.

A Century of Turbulent Cascades and the Emergence of Multifractal Operators
A century of cascades and three decades of multifractals have built up a truly interdisciplinary framework that has enabled a new approach and understanding of nonlinear phenomena, in particular, in geophysics.

On strong convex compactness property of spaces of nonlinear operators [PDF]
The strong convex compactness property is important for property persistence of operator semigroups under perturbations. It has been investigated in the linear setting. In this paper, we are concerned with the property in the nonlinear setting. We prove that the following spaces of (nonlinear) operators enjoy the strong convex compactness property: the

Some properties of nonlinear Volterra-Stieltjes integral operators
We study some properties of the nonlinear Volterra-Stieltjes integral operator of general form which is defined with help of the Stieltjes integral with the kernel depending on two variables. The results obtained in the paper generalize those obtained earlier for the Volterra-Stieltjes integral operators having less general form.

The nonlocal problem for fractal diffusion equation
Over the past few decades, the theory of pseudodifferential operators (PDO) and equations with such operators (PDE) has been intensively developed. The authors of a new direction in the theory of PDE, which they called parabolic PDE with non-smooth ...
