Observer‐Based Adaptive Event‐Triggered Tracking Control for Fuzzy TS Systems With Premise Mismatch
This paper presents an adaptive logistic event‐triggered observer‐based tracking controller for Takagi‐Sugeno fuzzy systems under constrained inputs and network delays. Leveraging a hybrid LMI and Secretary Bird Optimization approach, this strategy significantly minimizes communication overhead and computational burden while ensuring optimal reference ...

dynoGP: Deep Gaussian Processes for Dynamic System Identification
This work introduces a novel class of deep models for system identification, dynamical deep Gaussian processes, which combine the strengths of data‐driven methods, such as those based on neural network architectures, with the ability to output a probability distribution for uncertainty representation.

Nonlinear Optimal Control of Space Docking and Rendezvous Problem [PDF]
In this paper a nonlinear optimal control is suggested. Spacecraft intended to rendezvous and dock with the target is controlled by actuators to have a safe and stable course while satisfying requirements.

Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for

A nonlinear optimal control minimization technique [PDF]
Hestenes’ method of multipliers is applied to a nonlinear optimal control problem. This requires that a differentially constrained problem be embedded in a family of unconstrained problems so as to preserve standard sufficiency criteria. Given an initial estimate of the Lagrange multipliers, a convergent sequence of arcs is generated.

A numerical–experimental framework is developed for characterizing multi‐matrix fiber‐reinforced polymers (MM‐FRPs) combining epoxy and polyurethane matrices. Harmonic bending tests are integrated with finite element model updating (FEMU) to simultaneously identify elastic and viscoelastic material parameters.

Nonlinear optimal perturbations in a Couette flow: bursting and transition [PDF]
This paper provides the analysis of bursting and transition to turbulence in a Couette flow, based on the growth of nonlinear optimal disturbances. We use a global variational procedure to identify such optimal disturbances, defined as those initial ...

Nonlinear optimal control of the planar inverted pendulum
The control and stabilization problem of the 4-DOF planar inverted pendulum is nontrivial due to the complex nonlinear dynamics and the underactuation of this dynamical system.
