On the Interval Stability of Weak-Nonlinear Control Systems with Aftereffect

open access: yesThe Scientific World Journal, 2016
Sufficient conditions of interval absolute stability of nonlinear control systems described in terms of systems of the ordinary differential equations with delay argument and also neutral type are obtained.

Predicting Atomic Charges in MOFs by Topological Charge Equilibration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An atomic charge prediction method is presented that is able to accurately reproduce ab‐initio‐derived reference charges for a large number of metal–organic frameworks. Based on a topological charge equilibration scheme, static charges that fulfill overall neutrality are quickly generated.

Applying integrals of motion to the numerical solution of differential equations [PDF]

open access: yes
A method is developed for using the integrals of systems of nonlinear, ordinary differential equations in a numerical integration process to control the local errors in these integrals and reduce the global errors of the solution.

On the solvability of nonlinear first-order boundary-value problems

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2006
This article investigates the existence of solutions to first-order nonlinear boundary-value problems (BVPs) involving systems of ordinary differential equations and two-point boundary conditions.

Solution of nonlinear problems by a new analytical technique using Daftardar-Gejji and Jafari polynomials

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2019
This article shows the solution of nonlinear differential equations by a new analytical technique called modified optimal homotopy perturbation method. Daftardar-Gejji and Jafari polynomials are used in the proposed method for the expansion of nonlinear ...

Parallels between control PDE's (Partial Differential Equations) and systems of ODE's (Ordinary Differential Equations) [PDF]

open access: yes
System theorists understand that the same mathematical objects which determine controllability for nonlinear control systems of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) also determine hypoellipticity for linear partial differentail equations (PDEs ...

Shaping Ti3C2 MXene Nanospheres for Precision Near‐Infrared Photothermal Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, we report producing spherical MXenes via fs laser fragmentation of Ti3C2 flakes in liquid medium. The nanoparticles demonstrated pronounced light absorption and high photothermal conversion efficiencies of 68% and 63% under heating with NIR‐I and NIR‐II lasers, respectively.

The symbolic computation of series solutions to ordinary differential equations using trees (extended abstract) [PDF]

open access: yes
Algorithms previously developed by the author give formulas which can be used for the efficient symbolic computation of series expansions to solutions of nonlinear systems of ordinary differential equations. As a by product of this analysis, formulas are

Infrared Nanocrystals for Space Application: Hardness to Irradiations

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This article investigates infrared HgTe nanocrystals under X‐ray and ion irradiation, revealing remarkable radiation hardness. It uncovers distinct degradation mechanisms and shows that the nanomaterial outperforms integrated electronics. The results position colloidal nanocrystals as promising candidates for resilient space and harsh‐environment ...
