Rotation in Multiple Correspondence Analysis: a planar rotation iterative procedure [PDF]
Multiple Correspondence Analysis (MCA) is a well-known multivariate method for statistical description of categorical data (see for instance Greenacre and Blasius, 2006). Similarly to what is done in Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Factor Analysis,

The Importance of Metal‐Organic Framework Linker Atoms for CO2 Reduction: A DFT Study
Using DFT, we examine the role of linker atoms in CO2 reduction on copper‐based metal organic frameworks (Cu MOFs). Our calculations reveal that linker atoms may serve as both CO2 and H‐shuttling sites and suggest linker electrostatics as a descriptor for linker activity. ABSTRACT Although the metal within the secondary building unit of a metal‐organic

Short wavelength mode-locked thulium-doped fiber laser based on nonlinear polarization rotation
We demonstrate a short wavelength harmonically mode-locked thulium-doped fiber laser based on nonlinear polarization rotation. Stable soliton pulsing with record short wavelength of 1787 nm and FWHM of 6.5 nm is achieved.

Magnetoelectric nanoparticles (MENPs) enable fully wireless, minutely invasive neuromodulation, and potentially neural recording, by converting magnetic into electric and, conversely, electric into magnetic fields, respectively, at high spatiotemporal resolution.

First‐principles calculations reveal that monolayer In2O${\rm In}_2{\rm O}$ hosts type‐II Dirac fermions near the Fermi level, which split into Weyl points under spin‐orbit coupling. The material exhibits negative and giant magnetoresistance, a pronounced spin Hall effect, and phonon‐mediated superconductivity at 1.5 K, establishing it as a unique ...

Superatom Distortion Induces Triferroicity and Spin Splitting in Two‐Dimensional Antiferromagnets
The incorporation of superatoms into a 2D square lattice induces symmetry breaking, thereby enabling concurrent coupling among magnetism, ferroelectricity, and ferroelasticity. This strategy achieves triferroic behavior—characterized by spin‐split antiferromagnetic ground states—and offers a viable pathway toward energy‐efficient spintronic devices ...

L-band wavelength-tunable fiber laser mode-locked by all polarization-maintaining nonlinear polarization rotation [PDF]
We achieved the first demonstration of a wavelength-tunable mode-locked fiber laser in the L-band using allpolarization maintaining (all-PM) nonlinear polarization rotation (NPR).

This work reports on epitaxially grown Hf0.52Zr0.48O2 ferroelectric memristors with high stability (high durability exceeding 108 cycles and a retention time exceeding 104 s for 16 states) and ultra‐low operating energy consumption (∼121 fJ). A memristor array‐based reservoir computing system is constructed and applied for the first time in the field ...
