Regularity Results for Nonlinear Wave Equations
The Annals of Mathematics, 1993We report on some recent progress on the Cauchy problem for semilinear wave equations \(u_{tt} - \Delta u + g(u) = 0\) in \(\mathbb{R}^n \times \mathbb{R}\) for smooth nonlinearities \(g\) of critical growth \(g(u) = u |u |^{2^* - 2}\) for large \(|u |\), where \(2^* = (2n)/(n - 2)\), and related problems. Our aim in this article is twofold.

Regularization of Nonlinear Differential-Algebraic Equations
SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis, 1994Summary: This paper illustrates how initial value problems for nonlinear differential-algebraic equations can be regularized, i.e., converted to tractable singularly perturbed problems, by appropriate introduction of a small positive parameter \(\varepsilon\).

A Regularized Nonlinear Discrimination Approach
2009 Third International Conference on Genetic and Evolutionary Computing, 2009For nonlinear discrimination analysis technique, there are some key points worthy of further research. One is finding an effective rule to select appropriate kernel function parameter for different sample sets. Another is providing a simple and efficient solution for the singularity problem of within-class scatter matrix.
