Blowup Analysis for a Semilinear Parabolic System with Nonlocal Boundary Condition
This paper deals with the properties of positive solutions to a semilinear parabolic system with nonlocal boundary condition. We first give the criteria for finite time blowup or global existence, which shows the important influence of nonlocal boundary.

Distribution of the critical and other points in boundary problems with nonlocal boundary condition
In this paper the Sturm–Liouville problem with one classical and other nonlocal two-point or integral boundary condition is investigated. There are critical points of the characteristic function analysed.

A PARABOLIC SYSTEM WITH NONLOCAL BOUNDARY CONDITIONS AND NONLOCAL SOURCES
In this work, the authors study the blow-up properties of so- lutions to a parabolic system with nonlocal boundary conditions and non- local sources. Conditions for the existence of global or blow-up solutions are given. Global blow-up property and precise blow-up rate estimates are also obtained. v(x;t) = R k2(x;y)v(y;t)dy; x2 @; t >0; u(x;0) = u0(x);

On positive eigenfunctions of Sturm‐Liouville problem with nonlocal two‐point boundary condition
Positive eigenvalues and corresponding eigenfunctions of the linear Sturm‐Liouville problem with one classical boundary condition and another nonlocal two‐point boundary condition are considered in this paper.

A unified existence theory for evolution equations and systems under nonlocal conditions [PDF]
We investigate the effect of nonlocal conditions expressed by linear continuous mappings over the hypotheses which guarantee the existence of global mild solutions for functional-differential equations in a Banach space. A progressive transition from the

The article investigates the Sturm–Liouville problem with one classical and another nonlocal two-point boundary condition. We analyze zeroes, poles and critical points of the characteristic function and how the properties of this function depend on ...

Solitary waves in nonlocal NLS with dispersion averaged saturated nonlinearities [PDF]
A nonlinear Schr\"odinger equation (NLS) with dispersion averaged nonlinearity of saturated type is considered. Such a nonlocal NLS is of integro-differential type and it arises naturally in modeling fiber-optics communication systems with periodically ...

One-loop analysis with nonlocal boundary conditions [PDF]
In the eighties, Schroder studied a quantum mechanical model where the stationary states of Schrodinger's equation obey nonlocal boundary conditions on a circle in the plane. For such a problem, we perform a detailed one-loop calculation for three choices of the kernel characterizing the nonlocal boundary conditions. In such cases, the zeta(0) value is

In this paper, we consider a problem for a one-dimensional hyperbolic equation with nonlocal integral condition of the second kind. Uniqueness and existence of a generalized solution are proved. In order to prove this statement we suggest a new approach.

A second order minimality condition for the Mumford-Shah functional
A new necessary minimality condition for the Mumford-Shah functional is derived by means of second order variations. It is expressed in terms of a sign condition for a nonlocal quadratic form on $H^1_0(\Gamma)$, $\Gamma$ being a submanifold of the ...
