Peptide Sequence Programmed Piezoelectric Response by Supramolecular Self‐Assembly
In this study, hydrophobic tripeptides are explored as building blocks for stable piezoelectric crystals. Tripeptides with phenylalanine at the central position self‐assembled into uniform, thermally stable crystals. Piezoresponse force microscopy reveals a high effective piezoelectric coefficient of 24.0 pC N−1, attributed to asymmetric molecular ...

Spatial dispersion of elastic waves in a bar characterized by tempered nonlocal elasticity
We apply the framework of tempered fractional calculus to investigate the spatial dispersion of elastic waves in a one-dimensional elastic bar characterized by range-dependent nonlocal interactions.

This study determines the effects of melt conditions and time on agZIF‐62's pore volume, accessible porosity, morphology, and coalescence for controlled production of ZIF‐62 glasses. Glasses derived from metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) combine the processing benefits of glassy materials with the accessible and selective porosity of MOFs, with potential

Fundamental Solutions of Nonlocal Elastic Theory and Their Characteristics.
In this paper we consider the general fundamental solutions and their characteristics of nonlocal elastic theory. The solutions are obtained by means of a simple method and a direct integral method. The simple method combines a power series of α and classical fundamental solutions.

The Impact of System Softness on Haines Jumps and Drainage in Porous Media
Abstract Haines jumps are abrupt movements of fluid interfaces accompanied by sudden changes in capillary pressure during multiphase flow in porous media. They are a fundamental pore‐scale mechanism influencing displacement patterns and efficiency. Haines jumps are controlled by the interplay of varying factors, including capillarity, pore geometry ...

Dynamics of nonlocal stress-driven Rayleigh Beam
This paper presents a novel investigation of the dynamic behavior of Rayleigh nanobeams using a nonlocal stress-driven differential elasticity model, extending the foundational work of Barretta. Unlike previous studies that exclusively employed the Euler-
