Existence and Uniqueness Results for Hadamard-Type Fractional Differential Equations with Nonlocal Fractional Integral Boundary Conditions

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
We study the existence and uniqueness of solutions for a fractional boundary value problem involving Hadamard-type fractional differential equations and nonlocal fractional integral boundary conditions. Our results are based on some classical fixed point

Solution of two-dimensional parabolic equation with nonlocal integral boundary conditions

open access: yesLietuvos matematikos rinkinys, 2011
Two-dimensional parabolic equation with nonlocal integral boundary conditions in a rectangle domain in this paper is solved by  alternating direction method. To find the solutions of this problem we are looking to solve a linear system of equations. This algorithm is realized on particular example and assess the error of solution.

Nonlocal active sound control for composite regions

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
In the active sound control problem, additional sound sources, known as control sources, are implemented at the perimeter of a protected domain. The control sources can generate secondary sound inside the shielded domain, which attenuates incoming noise. This leads to an inverse source problem.

Nonlocal Boundary Value Problems for q-Difference Equations and Inclusions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Differential Equations, 2015
We study boundary value problems for q-difference equations and inclusions with nonlocal and integral boundary conditions which have different quantum numbers. Some new existence and uniqueness results are obtained by using fixed point theorems. Examples

On the analyzing of bifurcation properties of the one‐dimensional Mackey–Glass model by using a generalized approach

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
The goal of this work is to look at how a nonlinear model describes hematopoiesis and its complexities utilizing commonly used techniques with historical and material links. Based on time delay, the Mackey–Glass model is explored in two instances. To offer a range, the relevance of the parameter impacting stability (bifurcation) is recorded.

On the nonlocal boundary value problem for the elliptic differential equations with integral type Samarskii-Ionkin conditions

open access: yesСовременная математика: Фундаментальные направления
The present paper is devoted to the study of the abstract nonlocal boundary value problem with integral type Samarskii–Ionkin conditions for the differential equation of elliptic type \[\hspace{-6em} -u''(t)+Au(t)=f(t)\quad (0\leq t\leq T),\quad u\left(

A Geometric Interpretation for the Algebraic Properties of Second‐Order Ordinary Differential Equations

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 48, Issue 6, Page 6912-6917, April 2025.
ABSTRACT Nowadays, a substantial portion of investigations concerning the symmetry analysis of differential equations predominantly adhere to a framework comprising the following key procedures: (i) the derivation of symmetries, (ii) the determination of an optimal system, (iii) the utilization of these symmetries to construct invariants or ...

Existence results for nonlinear fractional differential equation with nonlocal integral boundary conditions

open access: yesMalaya Journal of Matematik, 2016
In this paper, we shall study a nonlinear fractional differential equation with nonlocal integral boundary conditions. We have used fixed point theorems and Laray-Schauder nonlinear alternative to study the existence and uniqueness of solutions to the given equation.

Numerical Investigation of a Diffusive SIR Model: Focus on Positivity Preservation

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In this paper, we consider a system of semilinear partial differential equations (PDEs) representing a spatially extended SIR epidemic model. A brief analytical investigation of the well‐posedness and positivity of the solutions is provided in the appendix, while the main focus is on the numerical treatment of the model.

Weak Solutions for a Class of Nonlocal Singular Problems Over the Nehari Manifold

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In this paper, we consider a nonlocal model of dilatant non‐Newtonian fluid with a Dirichlet boundary condition. By using the Nehari manifold and fibering map methods, we obtain the existence of at least two weak solutions, with sign information.
