Disentangling Internal Tides From Balanced Motions With Deep Learning and Surface Field Synergy

Abstract A fundamental challenge in ocean dynamics is disentangling balanced motions and internal waves. Extracting internal tidal (IT) imprints from surface data is a central part of this challenge.
