From nonlocality quantifiers for behaviors to nonlocality quantifiers for states [PDF]
We define an alternative way of quantifying nonlocality of states based on Bell nonlocality of behaviors, called the trace-weighted nonlocal volume. The construction is based on the nonlocal volume, a quantifier of nonlocality for states that counts the ...

Genuine Hidden Quantum Nonlocality [PDF]
The nonlocality of certain quantum states can be revealed by using local filters before performing a standard Bell test. This phenomenon, known as hidden nonlocality, has been so far demonstrated only for a restricted class of measurements, namely ...

Nonlocality was discovered by John Bell in 1964, in the context of the debates about quantum theory, but is a phenomenon that can be studied in its own right.

Nonlocality-controllable Kerr-nonlinearity in nonlocally nonlinear system with oscillatory responses
We discuss the Kerr nonlinearities of the nonlocally nonlinear system with oscillatory responses by the variational approach. The self-focusing and self-defocusing states are found to dramatically depend on the degree of nonlocality.

A third‐order nonlocal problem with nonlocal conditions [PDF]
We study an equation with dominated lower‐order terms and nonlocal conditions. Using the Riesz representation theorem and the Schauder fixed‐point theorem, we prove the existence and uniqueness of a generalized solution.

Equivalence checking of quantum circuits by nonlocality
Suppose two quantum circuit chips are located at different places, for which we do not have any prior knowledge, and cannot see the internal structures either.

The Hardy’s nonlocality argument [PDF]
Certain predictions of quantum theory are not compatible with the notion of local-realism. This was the content of Bell’s famous theorem of the year 1964. Bell proved this with the help of an inequality, famously known as Bell’s inequality. The alternative proofs of Bell’s theorem without using Bell’s inequality are known as “nonlocality without ...

Quantum steering with vector vortex photon states with the detection loophole closed
Violating a nonlocality inequality enables the most powerful remote quantum information tasks and fundamental tests of quantum physics. Loophole-free photonic verification of nonlocality has been achieved with polarization-entangled photon pairs, but not

GRAVITATION AND NONLOCALITY [PDF]
The physical basis of the standard theory of general relativity is examined and a nonlocal theory of accelerated observers is described that involves a natural generalization of the hypothesis of locality. The nonlocal theory is confronted with experiment via an indirect approach. The implications of the results for gravitation are briefly discussed.
