Nonlocal Newtonian cosmology [PDF]
We explore some of the cosmological implications of the recent classical nonlocal generalization of Einstein’s theory of gravitation in which nonlocality is due to the gravitational memory of past events. In the Newtonian regime of this theory, the nonlocal character of gravity simulates dark matter in spiral galaxies and clusters of galaxies. However,

Algorithmic Design of Disordered Networks With Arbitrary Coordination: Application to Biophotonics
Predictive Design of Disordered Networks: Disordered network‐like morphologies are abundant in nature, from cytoskeletal networks to bone structures and chalcogenide glasses. These structures are naturally hard to characterize. A new algorithmic tool extends the established Wooten–Weaire–Winer (WWW) algorithm to valencies above 4.

Strain Engineering of Magnetoresistance and Magnetic Anisotropy in CrSBr
Biaxial compressive strain significantly enhances magnetoresistance and critical saturation fields in thin flakes of the 2D magnet CrSBr, along all three crystallographic axes. First‐principles calculations link these effects to strain‐induced increases in exchange interactions and magnetic anisotropy.

d-Path Laplacians and Quantum Transport on Graphs
We generalize the Schrödinger equation on graphs to include long-range interactions (LRI) by means of the Mellin-transformed d-path Laplacian operators.

Nonlocality-controlled interaction of spatial solitons in nematic liquid crystals
We demonstrate experimentally that the interactions between a pair of nonlocal spatial optical solitons in a nematic liquid crystal (NLC) can be controlled by the degree of nonlocality.

Spin‐Split Edge States in Metal‐Supported Graphene Nanoislands Obtained by CVD
Combining STM measurements and ab‐initio calculations, we show that zig‐zag edges in graphene nanoislands grown on Ni(111) by CVD retrieve their spin‐polarized edge states after intercalation of a few monolayers of Au. ABSTRACT Spin‐split states localized on zigzag edges have been predicted for different free‐standing graphene nanostructures.

Sharing quantum nonlocality under Hawking effect of a Schwarzschild black hole
Sharing nonlocality refers to whether the postmeasurement state in a Bell test can be reused to demonstrate nonlocality among multiple observers conducting sequential measurements.

Causality and Nonlocality as Axioms for Quantum Mechanics [PDF]
Quantum mechanics permits nonlocality - both nonlocal correlations and nonlocal equations of motion - while respecting relativistic causality. Is quantum mechanics the unique theory that reconciles nonlocality and causality? We consider two models, going

The discovery of postquantum nonlocality, i.e., the existence of nonlocal correlations that are stronger than any quantum correlations but nevertheless consistent with the no-signaling principle, has deepened our understanding of the foundations of ...

COFs on MOFs: Layer‐by‐Layer Synthesis of MOF@COF Nanoparticles with Synergistic Adsorption
A layer‐by‐layer strategy enables the growth of crystalline covalent organic framework (COF) shells on metal–organic framework nanoparticles, creating core–shell structures with tunable porosity. Ordered interstitial mesopores are formed during shell growth, which are connected with the COF's intrinsic micropores, thereby enhancing water sorption. This
