Composite material production of nonmetallic printed circuit board waste with recycled high density polyethylene [PDF]
This research is intended to develop a new potential reuse of recovered nonmetallic materials of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and plastic waste. Recycling of these wastes are being attempted in order to reduce its harmful effects on the environment.

Beyond Furnaces: Harnessing In Situ Joule Heating for Efficient C1 Catalysis
Joule‐heated catalysis directly converts electrical energy into localized heat within conductive catalysts, overcoming the heat‐transfer limitations of conventional furnaces. This review summarizes recent advances in C1 molecule conversion, including CO2 methanation, reforming for hydrogen production, and HCHO/CO oxidation, while highlighting ...

Cationic Sulfonium‐Based Tripodal Ligand and Its Rh(I) Complexes
We report a cationic EP3‐type tripodal ligand based on an aromatic sulfonium cation (E = S+) along with a series of its Rh(I) complexes. Structural, spectroscopic, electrochemical, and computational analyses of these complexes compared to isostructural analogs (E = Si− or P) reveal pronounced electron density depletion at Rh in the sulfonium congener ...

Achievement of Transition Metal Chalcogenides/Oxides in Hydrogen Production by Seawater Electrolysis
Transition metal chalcogenides (TMCs)/oxides have shown great application potential in seawater splitting for hydrogen generation due to their adjustable electronic properties, abundant active sites, and excellent catalytic performance. ABSTRACT Under the impetus of global “dual carbon” goals, green hydrogen has become a key component of the future ...

Nonmetallic behaviour in thin metal wires
General expressions for the temperature coefficient of resistivity (TCR) of thin metal wires have been derived by incorporating the thermal expansion of the wire diameter and the wire-to-substrate expansion mismatch.

This review systematically examines how different transition metal compounds—such as binary and multinary metal oxides, halides, sulfides, and salts—exhibit thermochromism based on the d‐electron configurations of their transition metal cations. It focuses on three main mechanisms of thermochromism: phase transition, charge transfer, and bandgap change.
