Nonparametric bootstrap tests for independence of generalized errors [PDF]
Summary In this paper, we develop a general method of testing for independence when unobservable generalized errors are involved. Our method can be applied to testing for serial independence of generalized errors, and testing for independence between the generalized errors and observable covariates.

Nonparametric bootstrap test for autoregressive additive models
Additive autoregressive models are commonly used to describe and simplify the behaviour of a nonlinear time series. When the additive structure is chosen, and the model estimated, it is important to evaluate if it is really suitable to describe the observed data since additivity represents a strong assumption.

Long‐Term Follow‐Up of Chemotherapy‐Associated Biological Aging in Women With Early Breast Cancer
Women threated with adjuvant chemotherapy for early breast cancer have sustained long‐term increase in p16INK4a,, a robust marker of cell senescence, suggesting a chemotherapy‐associated age acceleration. p16INK4a as well as other biomarkers may identify patients at greatest risk for senescence‐related diseases of aging.

MPBoot: fast phylogenetic maximum parsimony tree inference and bootstrap approximation
Background The nonparametric bootstrap is widely used to measure the branch support of phylogenetic trees. However, bootstrapping is computationally expensive and remains a bottleneck in phylogenetic analyses.
