Innovation-Based Research Using Structural Flexibility and Acceptance Model (SFAM)

open access: yesCogent Business & Management, 2023
The research objectives are as follows: (1) Develop a solid structural model assuming normality and homoscedasticity. (2) Obtain the property estimator of the flexible and robust SFAM structural model.

Multivariate Rank-Based Distribution-Free Nonparametric Testing Using Measure Transportation [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the American Statistical Association, 2019
In this article, we propose a general framework for distribution-free nonparametric testing in multi-dimensions, based on a notion of multivariate ranks defined using the theory of measure transportation. Unlike other existing proposals in the literature,

A Significance Test for Covariates in Nonparametric Regression [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We consider testing the significance of a subset of covariates in a nonparametric regression. These covariates can be continuous and/or discrete.

Analysis of Nonparametric and Parametric Criteria for Statistical Hypotheses Testing. Chapter 1. Agreement Criteria of Pearson and Kolmogorov

open access: yesСтатистика України, 2018
In the statistical analysis of experimental results it is extremely important to know the distribution laws of the general population. ‎Because of all assumptions about the distribution laws are statistical hypotheses, they should be tested.

Empirical Likelihood Ratio Tests for Homogeneity of Multiple Populations in the Presence of Auxiliary Information

open access: yesMathematics, 2022
The empirical likelihood ratio test (ELRT) statistic is constructed for testing the homogeneity of several nonparametric populations in the presence of some auxiliary information. It is shown—under some regularity conditions and under the null hypothesis

Significance testing in quantile regression [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We consider the problem of testing significance of predictors in multivariate nonparametric quantile regression. A stochastic process is proposed, which is based on a comparison of the responses with a nonparametric quantile regression estimate under the

LINC01116, a hypoxia‐lncRNA marker of pathological lymphangiogenesis and poor prognosis in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The LINC01116 long noncoding RNA is induced by hypoxia and associated with poor prognosis and high recurrence rates in two cohorts of lung adenocarcinoma patients. Here, we demonstrate that besides its expression in cancer cells, LINC01116 is markedly expressed in lymphatic endothelial cells of the tumor stroma in which it participates in hypoxia ...

Nonparametric bootstrap methods for hypothesis testing in the event of double-censored data

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics
This paper illustrated how nonparametric bootstrap methods for double-censored data can be used to conduct some hypothesis tests, such as quartiles' hypothesis tests. Through simulation studies, the smoothed bootstrap (SB) method performed better results

Phenotypic and genotypic characterization of single circulating tumor cells in the follow‐up of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.
