Nonpenetrating intraabdominal injuries in children
Journal of Pediatric Surgery, 1974Abstract A series of 130 children with closed abdominal injuries is reviewed. Mortality is related to age and number of organs involved. Injuries to individual organs are analyzed. Injuries of the abdomen were found to be more common on the right side than on the left; a possible explanation is offered.
