The syntax of nonstandard analysis

open access: yesAnnals of Pure and Applied Logic, 1988
The author continuous in this paper his influential study, started with the paper ``Internal set theory: a new approach to nonstandard analysis'' [Bull. Am. Math. Soc. 83, 1165-1198 (1977; Zbl 0373.02040)], of formalizations of principles of nonstandard analysis.

Metal Battery Anode: Rich in Electrons, Rich in Problems: A Critical Review from Industrial Perspectives

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Metal‐anode batteries using Li, Na, Mg, and Ca offer exceptionally high energy density, but dendrites, unstable interphases, cracking, and pore formation hinder durability and safety. This review shows how careful electrolyte and interphase design can stabilize these reactive metals.

Bypassing Heteronuclear MRI: Metal‐Free Organosilicon Nanotracers for Background‐Free Hotspot 1H Imaging on Clinical Hardware

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Organosilicon micelles enable background‐free molecular magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) while remaining fully compatible with standard proton (1H) hardware. By exploiting a spectrally silent 1H window at ∼0 ppm, the silicone nanotracer allows hotspot detection by 1H chemical‐shift imaging (CSI) without metals or heteronuclei, enabling direct overlay ...

On Some Types of Functions in Nonstandard Analysis

open access: yesScience Journal of University of Zakho, 2016
In this paper, by using some nonstandard concepts given by Robinson and axiomatized by Nelson we study the behavior of functions defined on a discrete intervals, whose points are of infinitesimal distances.

Diagnostic Accuracy of Size‐Based Preoperative CT Assessment for Predicting Lymph Node Metastasis in Colon Cancer: A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
Preoperative CT based on lymph node size shows moderate accuracy for detecting nodal metastasis in colon cancer. In this meta‐analysis of 29 studies (5,634 patients), pooled sensitivity and specificity were 0.69 and 0.66. Size‐based CT alone has limited value for clinical decision‐making.

Toward Predictable Nanomedicine: Current Forecasting Frameworks for Nanoparticle–Biology Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Predictive models successfully screen nanoparticles for toxicity and cellular uptake. Yet, complex biological dynamics and sparse, nonstandardized data limit their accuracy. The field urgently needs integrated artificial intelligence/machine learning, systems biology, and open‐access data protocols to bridge the gap between materials science and safe ...

Nonstandard Analysis of Graphs

open access: yes, 2001
This paper shows certain classes of metric spaces characterized by volume growth properties of balls can viewed as graphs with infinitesimal edges. Our approach is based on nonstandard analysis.

DeepMapper: Attention‐Based AutoEncoder for System Identification in Wound Healing and Stage Prediction

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
The authors develop a deep learning model for real‐time tracking of wound progression. The deep learning framework maps the nonlinear evolution of a time series of images to a latent space, where they learn a linear representation of the dynamics. The linear model is interpretable and suitable for applications in feedback control.

Artificial Intelligence‐Driven Network Pharmacology: A Methodological Paradigm Shift Bridging Traditional Wisdom and Modern Science

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Artificial intelligence is redefining network pharmacology (NP). By integrating knowledge graph engineering, geometric deep learning, multiomics anchoring, and generative reasoning, AI‐driven NP (AI‐NP) transforms static target mapping into dynamic, predictive modeling.

COMPUTABILITY THEORY, NONSTANDARD ANALYSIS, AND THEIR CONNECTIONS [PDF]

open access: yesThe Journal of Symbolic Logic, 2019
AbstractWe investigate the connections between computability theory and Nonstandard Analysis. In particular, we investigate the two following topics and show that they are intimately related.(T.1) A basic property of Cantor space$2^ $ is Heine–Borel compactness: for any open covering of $2^ $, there is a finite subcovering.
