Time averaging for functional differential equations

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2003
We present a result on the averaging for functional differential equations on finite time intervals. The result is formulated in both classical mathematics and nonstandard analysis; its proof uses some methods of nonstandard analysis.

On differential operators an differential equations on torus

open access: yesVestnik Samarskogo Gosudarstvennogo Tehničeskogo Universiteta. Seriâ: Fiziko-Matematičeskie Nauki, 2018
In this paper, we consider periodic boundary value problems for a differential equation whose coefficients are trigonometric polynomials. The spaces of generalized functions are constructed, in which the problems considered have solutions, in particular,

Solution of Euler’s Differential Equation in Terms of Distribution Theory and Fractional Calculus

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
For Euler’s differential equation of order n, a theorem is presented to give n solutions, by modifying a theorem given in a recent paper of the present authors in J. Adv. Math. Comput. Sci.

Nonstandard analysis and the sumset phenomenon in arbitrary amenable groups [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Beiglbock, Bergelson and Fish proved that if subsets A, B of a countable discrete amenable group G have positive Banach densitiesand respectively, then the product set AB is piecewise syndetic, i.e.

Toward Low‐Consumable Anodes: Process Simulation and Prospective Life Cycle Assessment of NiFe2O4‐NiO‐Ni‐Cu vs. Prebaked Anodes for Aluminum Production with use of Molten Salt Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Low‐consumable nickel ferrite‐based anodes for the Hall–Héroult process are compared with conventional prebaked carbon anodes using thermodynamic simulation and prospective life cycle assessment under contrasting future electricity system pathways from 2025 to 2050.

RaPID Selection of Backbone Macrocyclic Peptides Targeting Akt2

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Backbone macrocyclic peptide library (BMP) library was screened against Akt2 via RaPID to discover potent BMPPakti‐3 (IC50 = 34 nM). ABSTRACT Backbone‐cyclic peptides (BMPs) are an attractive class of molecules appeared in diverse natural bioactive products. However, mRNA display technology coupled with ribosomal synthesis is intrinsically inapplicable

A hypercontinuous hypersmooth Schwarzschild line element transformation

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1997
In this paper, a new derivation for one of the black hole line elements is given since the basic derivation for this line element is flawed mathematically. This derivation postulates a transformation procedure that utilizes a transformation function that

The Relation between the Spaces L1(F ) and L1(T) with Some Applications [PDF]

open access: yesEurasian Journal of Science and Engineering, 2018
In this research we find the relation between the nonstandard space of Lebesgue integrable functions L1(F),where F={|-N⁄2|+1,|-N⁄2|+2,…,0,…,|N⁄2| is a *finite set for N > ℕ and the space of Lebesgue integrable functions L1(T), where T=[-π,π] , with some

Numerical Exploration of Thermal Shock Resistance in MgO–C Refractories

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A mesostructure‐resolved numerical framework is developed to evaluate the thermal shock resistance of MgO–C refractories. By modeling interface debonding under rapid temperature changes and introducing a modified thermal shock parameter that accounts for mesocracks, the study shows how graphite content and aggregate size influence thermal shock ...

An embedding of Schwartz distributions in the algebra of asymptotic functions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1998
We present a solution of the problem of multiplication of Schwartz distributions by embedding the space of distributions into a differential algebra of generalized functions, called in the paper “asymptotic function,” similar to but different from J.
