We show a reductive cross‐coupling reaction of bicyclo[1.1.1]pentyl (BCP)‐thianthrenium reagents and alkyl bromides, which is catalyzed by a copper/photoredox catalyst system. The reaction provides a variety of BCP‐alkylated products through the formation of a C(sp3)−C(sp3) bond. Abstract Herein, we report a reductive cross‐coupling reaction of bicyclo[

Enhanced Analgesic Properties and Reduced Ulcerogenic Effect of a Mononuclear Copper(II) Complex with Fenoprofen in Comparison to the Parent Drug: Promising Insights in the Treatment of Chronic Inflammatory Diseases [PDF]
Analgesic and ulcerogenic properties have been studied for the copper(II) coordination complex of the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug Fenoprofen and imidazole [Cu(fen)2(im)2] (Cu: copper(II) ion; fen: fenoprofenate anion from Fenoprofen, im ...

A rotaxane actuator controls bond scission—perpendicular or parallel to the axle—based on bulky group orientation in a 4‐membered ring. This allows diverse functional molecules to be released from a single core structure, expanding the molecular variety obtainable from new or existing mechanophores.
