Stereo matching cost computation based on nonsubsampled contourlet transform
Journal of Visual Communication and Image Representation, 2015The structure feature vector of each pixel in image is constructed by NSCT.A new weighted matching cost computation model for stereo matching is designed. The optimum values of NSCT parameters are confirmed by experimental analysis. The new matching cost obtains good matching accuracy in the experiments.

Multifocus image fusion scheme based on nonsubsampled contourlet transform
SPIE Proceedings, 2011This paper proposes a novel multifocus image fusion scheme based on nonsubsampled contourlet transform (NSCT). The selection principles for different subband coefficients in NSCT domain are discussed in detail. In order to be consistent with the characteristics of the human visual system and improve the robustness of the fusion algorithm to the ...

FUSION OF MULTISPECTRAL AND PANCHROMATIC IMAGES BASED ON THE NONSUBSAMPLED CONTOURLET TRANSFORM
International Journal of Image and Graphics, 2013This paper proposes two different methods for fusing multispectral (MS) and panchromatic (PAN) satellite images using the nonsubsampled contourlet transform (NSCT). The NSCT decomposes the images into several directional subbands at flexible resolutions.

An automatic image registration scheme based on the nonsubsampled contourlet transform
2007 9th International Symposium on Signal Processing and Its Applications, 2007In this paper, a new feature points extraction method based on the nonsubsampled contourlet transform (NSCT) is proposed for image registration. The primary motivation of this work is to determine the effectiveness of the NSCT transform for feature points extraction for the use of image registration.

SAR and Infrared Image Fusion Using Nonsubsampled Contourlet Transform
2009 International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence, 2009To utilize the separate advantage of the Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and infrared images, in this paper, a fusion method based on the nonsubsampled contourlet transform is proposed for SAR and infrared image fusion. Simulation experiments show that this method can yield fusion image with better visual quality than discrete wavelet transform and the ...

Multifocus image fusion based on nonsubsampled contourlet transform
2012 7th International Forum on Strategic Technology (IFOST), 2012In recent years, image fusion has become the focus of image processing. For the fusion problems of the multifocus images with the same scence, this paper proposed a new fusion method based on nonsampled contourlet transform(NSCT). Firstly, source images are decomposed in different scales and directions by NSCT, thus the low frequency subband ...

A Novel Image Fusion Based on Nonsubsampled Contourlet Transform
Advanced Materials Research, 2013The nonsubsampled contourlet transform (NSCT) is not only with multi-scale and localization, but also with multi-direction, anisotropy and shift-invariance. A novel image fusion algorithm based on the NSCT is proposed in this paper, aiming at solving the fusion problem of images.

Image fusion algorithm based on nonsubsampled contourlet transform
2010 2nd International Conference on Future Computer and Communication, 2010Image fusion involves merging two or more images into a single image with more details and information. Recently, multiscale transform approaches are very useful for analyzing the information content of images for the purpose of fusion. The nonsubsampled contourlet transform (NSCT) can provide a flexible multiscale, multidirection, and shift-invariant ...
