Nanothermometry in Living Cells: Physical Limits, Conceptual and Material Challenges
Heat and temperature are fundamental to life. When nanothermometers began probing regions as small as a living cell, they triggered controversial claims of large intracellular temperature gradients. We review physical constraints energy‐conservation, entropy production, thermodynamic fluctuations, and molecular dynamics.

Bioprosthetic aortic valves have revolutionized the treatment of aortic stenosis, but their durability is limited by structural valve deterioration (SVD). This review focuses on the pericardial tissue at the heart of these valves, examining how its mechanical properties and calcification drive fatigue and failure.

Nanosecond pulse laser texturing yields superhydrophobic and superhydrophilic AA2024 surfaces. Salt‐spray tests show that periodic superhydrophobic patterns suppress pitting, whereas superhydrophilic textures enhance it, linking laser‐induced morphology, wettability, and oxide chemistry to corrosion resistance.

Lyapunov functions for general nonuniform trichotomy with different growth rates
In this article, we consider non-autonomous linear equations x' = A(t)x that may exhibit stable, unstable and central behaviors in different directions.

The Equivalence of Datko and Lyapunov Properties for (h,k)-Trichotomic Linear Discrete-Time Systems
The aim of this paper is to characterize a general property of (h,k)-trichotomy through some Lyapunov functions for linear discrete-time systems in infinite dimensional spaces.

Trace amounts of perfluoro‐1‐butanesulfonyl fluoride enables the regulation of the Zn/electrolyte interface by the generated zincophilic ─SO3H groups with long hydrophobic ─CF2 tails, which adsorb strongly onto the Zn surface, displace water molecules from the inner Helmholtz plane, and reconstruct the electrical double‐layer structure.

Mechanochromism of Glassy Polymers Enabled by a Loop‐Forming Supramolecular Mechanophore
The supramolecular mechanophore LOOP is covalently introduced into glassy polymers, capable of reporting force‐induced pre‐failure damage and local fracture events in polymer glasses. Under different mechanical deformation modes, including grinding, tensile stretching, and scratching, LOOP probes irreversible events in polymer glasses through a ...

An analysis of hybrid impulsive prey-predator-mutualist system on nonuniform time domains
In this work, we propose a hybrid impulsive prey-predator-mutualist model on nonuniform time domains. We have investigated the permanence/persistence results for the proposed model using the comparison theorems of impulsive differential equations and ...
