Adaptive mesh based Haar wavelet approximation for a singularly perturbed integral boundary problem [PDF]
This research presents a nonuniform Haar wavelet approximation of a singularly perturbed convection-diffusion problem with an integral boundary. The problem is discretized by approximating the second derivative of the solution with the help of a ...

Nonuniform Hyperbolicity and Admissibility
Abstract For a nonautonomous dynamics defined by a sequence of linear operators, we consider the notion of an exponential dichotomy with respect to a sequence of norms and we characterize it completely in terms of the admissibility in pairs of spaces (ℓp, ℓq), with p and q not necessarily equal.

Graphene nanoplatelet (0.1 wt.%) reinforcement significantly enhances the performance of β Ti‐28Nb‐35.4Zr alloy. Grain refinement, reduced water contact angle, and improved surface characteristics promote osteoblast adhesion and complete surface coverage after 7 days.

On Nonuniform Polynomial Trichotomy of Linear Discrete-Time Systems in Banach Spaces
We study two nonuniform polynomial trichotomy concepts for linear discrete-time systems in Banach spaces. Our main objective is to give summation property for nonuniform polynomial trichotomies.

A statistical language model assigns probability to strings of arbitrary length. Unfortunately, it is not possible to gather reliable statistics on strings of arbitrary length from a finite corpus. Therefore, a statistical language model must decide that

Metallic nanograins: spatially nonuniform pairing induced by quantum confinement
It is well-known that the formation of discrete electron levels strongly influences the pairing in metallic nanograins. Here we focus on another effect of quantum confinement in superconducting grains that was not studied previously, i.e., spatially ...

Cathodic Cage Plasma Deposition of Nanostructured Cu–Fe–Se Coatings on Poly(methyl Methacrylate)
Nanostructured Cu–Fe–Se coatings are deposited on PMMA by a modified cathodic cage plasma process, enabling low‐temperature deposition on polymer substrates. A transition from discontinuous to compact morphology is observed with temperature, with optimal properties at 200°C, where improved CuFeSe2‐type bonding, lowest sheet resistance, and favorable ...

Biofabrication aims at providing innovative technologies and tools for the fabrication of tissue‐like constructs for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications. By integrating multiple biofabrication technologies, such as 3D (bio) printing with fiber fabrication methods, it would be more realistic to reconstruct native tissue's ...

Proportional Nonuniform Multi-Gabor Expansions
A nonuniform multi-Gabor expansion (MGE) scheme is studied under proportional time and frequency (TF) shifts among different window indices . In particular, TF parameters for each are different, but proportional and relevant to windows' TF patterns ...
