Treatment of acne in the aesthetic patient: A round table update
Abstract Background The popularity of social media appears to be increasing the acceptance of cosmetic treatments, prompting more consumers to seek cosmetic treatments. As the estimated prevalence of acne vulgaris among adult women may be as high as 54%, acne is commonly observed among patients presenting for cosmetic treatments.

Pure and Random-Field Quantum Criticality in the Dipolar Ising Model: Theory of $Mn_{12}$ acetates [PDF]
A theoretical model for the $Mn_{12}$ acetates is derived including a 'random field' effect arising from isomer effects in some families of host acetate materials. Estimates for the important energy scales are given. Phase boundaries are determined using a mean field approximation.

An Ice Structuring Mechanism for Zirconium Acetate [PDF]
The control of ice nucleation and growth is critical in many natural and engineering situations. Yet, very few compounds are able to interact directly with the surface of ice crystals. Ice-structuring proteins, found in certain fishes, plants and insects, bind to the surface of ice, thereby controlling their growth.

Mn12-acetate film pattern generated by photolithography methods [PDF]
We demonstrate a straightforward way to lithographically fabricate Mn12-acetate (Mn12O12(CH3COO)16(H2O)4 2CH3COOH 4H2O) thin film patterns on Si/SiO2 surfaces, a significant step in light of the chemical volatility of this organic complex. Atomic force microscopy (AFM) images of the film patterns allow the determination of the pattern dimensions. X-ray

Water/ice phase transition: the role of Zirconium Acetate, a compound with ice-shaping properties [PDF]
Few compounds feature ice-shaping properties. The only compound reported to have ice-shaping properties similar to that of ice-shaping proteins, encountered in many organisms living at low temperature, is Zirconium Acetate. When a Zirconium Acetate solution is frozen, oriented and perfectly hexagonal ice crystals can be formed and their growth follows ...
