Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Developing design-basis PSD loads for spent nuclear fuel transport: Insights from cask test results
From 2020 to 2021, multimodal transportation tests were conducted in South Korea. Surrogate fuel assemblies were loaded into a full-sized transportation cask for road and sea transportation tests at Doosan Enerbility and along a South Korean seashore ...

Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Nonlinear spatial normalization using basis functions [PDF]
We describe a comprehensive framework for performing rapid and automatic nonlabel-based nonlinear spatial normalizations. The approach adopted minimizes the residual squared difference between an image and a template of the same modality. In order to reduce the number of parameters to be fitted, the nonlinear warps are described by a linear combination

AAA+ protein unfoldases—the Moirai of the proteome
AAA+ unfoldases are essential molecular motors that power protein degradation and disaggregation. This review integrates recent cryo‐electron microscopy (cryo‐EM) structures and single‐molecule biophysical data to reconcile competing models of substrate translocation.

Segmented Regression Based on B-Splines with Solved Examples [PDF]
The subject of the paper is segmented linear, quadratic, and cubic regression based on B-spline basis functions. In this article we expose the formulas for the computation of B-splines of order one, two, and three that is needed to construct linear ...

Leptonic Invariants, Neutrino Mass-Ordering and the Octant of $\theta_{23}$
We point out that leptonic weak-basis invariants are an important tool for the study of the properties of lepton flavour models. In particular, we show that appropriately chosen invariants can give a clear indication of whether a particular lepton ...
