Coordenadas cartesianas moleculares a partir da geometria dos modos normais de vibração Molecular cartesian coordinates from vibrational normal modes geometry

open access: yesQuímica Nova, 2007
A simple method to obtain molecular Cartesian coordinates as a function of vibrational normal modes is presented in this work. The method does not require the definition of special matrices, like the F and G of Wilson, neither of group theory. The Eckart'

ABL kinase‐dependent phosphorylation of SH proteins promotes their direct interaction with CRK family SH2 domains

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
CT10 regulator of kinase (CRK) and CRK‐Like (CRKL) are signaling adaptors driving cell adhesion, motility, differentiation, and proliferation. SH2‐domain containing (SH) proteins are enriched in YXXP motifs which when phosphorylated create preferred binding sites for CRK family SH2 domains.

A Normal Mode Model Based on the Spectral Element Method for Simulating Horizontally Layered Acoustic Waveguides

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering
Acoustic waves are essential tools for guiding underwater activities. For many years, numerical modeling of ocean acoustic propagation has been a major research focus in underwater acoustics.

Investigating transcription factor dynamics in health and disease using FRAP

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
FRAP analysis of GFP‐tagged transcription factors reveals how molecular mobility and target engagement change in response to drug treatment. By combining live‐cell imaging, quantitative model fitting, and statistical analysis, this approach uncovers transcription factor dynamics linked to disease mechanisms, providing a powerful framework for ...

Identification of the plant mitochondrial OrfX protein: A mass spectrometry approach

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The mitochondrial genome of plants contains an open reading frame, orfx, which encodes a rare protein that has so far escaped mass spectrometric detection. The protein resembles the c‐subunit of bacterial twin‐arginine‐motif‐dependent protein translocases (TatC).

Normal modes of charged AdS solitons

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We study massive charged scalar field perturbations in four- and five- dimensional charged anti-de Sitter soliton spacetimes. Appropriate boundary conditions are established via a local analysis of the perturbation equations.
