Exploring the flavor structure of quarks and leptons with reinforcement learning
We propose a method to explore the flavor structure of quarks and leptons with reinforcement learning. As a concrete model, we utilize a basic value-based algorithm for models with U(1) flavor symmetry.

The geometric first-order integer-valued autoregressive process (GINAR(1)) can be particularly useful to model relevant discrete-valued time series, namely in statistical process control.

2020 global reassessment of the neutrino oscillation picture
We present an updated global fit of neutrino oscillation data in the simplest three-neutrino framework. In the present study we include up-to-date analyses from a number of experiments.

Neutrino cosmology after DESI: tightest mass upper limits, preference for the normal ordering, and tension with terrestrial observations [PDF]
The recent DESI Baryon Acoustic Oscillation measurements have led to tight upper limits on the neutrino mass sum, potentially in tension with oscillation constraints requiring ∑ mν ≳ 0.06 eV.

Possibilities of Future Double Beta Decay Experiments to Investigate Inverted and Normal Ordering Region of Neutrino Mass [PDF]
An overview of modern experiments on the search for neutrinoless double decay is presented. The obtained limits on the effective mass of the Majorana neutrino $\langle m_{\nu} \rangle$ are discussed taking into account the uncertainties in the value of ...

Crucial Dependence of ``Precarious'' and ``Autonomous'' phi^4s Upon the Normal-ordering Mass [PDF]
Using the Gaussian wave-functional approach with the normal-ordering renormalization prescription, we show that for the (3+1)-dimensional massive lambda phi^4 theory, ``precarious'' and ``autonomous'' phi^4s can exist if and only if the normal-ordering ...

Order-cushioned refinements and normality [PDF]
The authors use the notions of order-cushioned covers and weak 0-covers to obtain the following result. THEOREM. A space X is collectionwise normal iff every weak 6-cover of X has an order-cushioned open refinement. Similar characterizations are obtained for normal, countably paracompact spaces and analogous embedding theorems are shown.

An ordering of normal ultrafiltres [PDF]
Summary: Suppose \(\kappa\) is supercompact, and \(\lambda\geq \kappa\). Let \(Nuf_{\kappa}(\lambda)\) be the collection of all normal ultrafilters on \(P_{\kappa}(\lambda)\). For any \(U\in Nuf_{\kappa}(\lambda)\), let \(i_ u\) be the elementary embedding associated with U. Def.

NORMALLY ORDERED SEMIGROUPS [PDF]
AbstractIn this paper we introduce the notion of normally ordered block-group as a natural extension of the notion of normally ordered inverse semigroup considered previously by the author. We prove that the classNOSof all normally ordered block-groups forms a pseudovariety of semigroups and, by using the Munn representation of a block-group, we deduce

Self-duality, helicity conservation, and normal ordering in nonlinear QED [PDF]
We give a proof of the equivalence of the electric-magnetic duality on one side and helicity conservation of the tree level amplitudes on the other side within general models of nonlinear electrodynamics.
