On Determination Method for Resolution of Secondary Electron Images in Scanning Electron Microscopy
An idealized SEM, termed Rayleigh's microscope, is constructed by Monte Carlo simulation to represent imaging conditions that just satisfy the Rayleigh criterion. Based on this physically defined model, sharpness–resolution conversion curves are established and combined with the Rose criterion, enabling automated resolution evaluation from practical ...

Distributions and normality theorems
We derive a Serre presentation of distribution algebras of loop groups in characteristic p and apply it to give a new proof of the normality of Schubert varieties inside parahoric affine Grassmannians, for all connected reductive groups whose fundamental group is p-torsion free.

On the structure of the large-N expansion in SU(N) Yang-Mills theory
Recently, we have computed the short-distance asymptotics of the generating functional of Euclidean correlators of single-trace twist-2 operators in the large-N expansion of SU(N) Yang-Mills (YM) theory to the leading-nonplanar order.

A normal integral basis Theorem
Let K be a number field of class number one and let L be a tame cyclic extension of K of prime power degree. Put G = G(L/K) and pm = #G, where p is a prime number. Let K’ be a finite extension of K, containing the pm th roots of unity, which is disjoint from L over K and such that the . . . discrtmmants D,,, and D,,, are relatively prime.

An Abstract Böhm-normalization
We study normalization by neededness with respect to ‘infinite results’, such as Böhm-trees, in an abstract framework of Stable Deterministic Residual Structures.

This work provides a practical guide for neuroengineers to design advanced neural interfaces, embracing and tailoring the concept of functional disorder. By bridging 2D and 3D in vitro models, this work highlights how non‐periodic, spatially heterogeneous, multiscale nanotopography can enable more physiologically relevant platforms for studying neural ...

Theorems on Normals of an Ellipse [PDF]
The condition that the normals at the points whose eccentric angles are α, β, γ shall be concurrent is The following method of establishing this result, as compared with those given in works on Concis , is direct, and also has the advantage of simplicity, by first proving the Trigonometrical identity which may be simply done by ...

Sternberg Linearization Theorem for Skew Products
International audienceWe present a new kind of normalization theorem: linearization theorem for skew products. The normal form is a skew product again, with the fiber maps linear.

Defect‐configurational origins of the asymmetric apparent electrostrain are revealed in different piezoelectric ceramics via atomic‐scale visualization of defect configurations. Migration of oxygen vacancies leads to the electrobending effect in N2‐sintered BaTiO3, while defect dipoles in Ba0.99TiO2.99 generate true asymmetric electrostrain without ...

Relative Normalization in Deterministic Residual Structures
This paper generalizes the Huet and Lévy theory of normalization by neededness to an abstract setting. We define Stable Deterministic Residual Structures (SDRS) and Deterministic Family Structures (DFS) by axiomatizing some properties of the residual ...
