Changing patterns of global-scale vegetation photosynthesis, 1982-1999 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
The primary objective of this research was to assess changes in global vegetation photosynthesis between 1982 and 1999. Global-scale Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) data from the Pathfinder ...

Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) in Assessment of Grain Crop State [PDF]

open access: yesBIO Web of Conferences
The results of studying the dynamics of the NDVI of winter triticale crops in the conditions of the Northwest of Russia are presented. The NDVI was determined based on remote sensing data obtained by two methods including satellite imagery and aerial ...

A normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) time-series of idle agriculture lands: A preliminary study [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
In this paper, the NDVI time-series collected from the study area between year 2003 and 2005 of all land cover types are plotted and compared. The study area is the agricultural zones in Banphai District, Khonkean, Thailand.

Evaluating Potential of MODIS-based Indices in Determining “Snow Gone” Stage over Forest-dominant Regions

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2010
“Snow gone” (SGN) stage is one of the critical variables that describe the start of the official forest fire season in the Canadian Province of Alberta. In this paper, our objective is to evaluate the potential of MODIS-based indices for determining the ...

Klímaváltozás szempontú, multispektrális monitoring mezőgazdasági- és erdőterületeken [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
In this study a new remote sensing indexes was introduced. They were calculated from the Terra satellite's MODIS sensor surface reflectance data using visible red, near-infrared and short-wave-infrared spectral bands. The following spectral indices were

A Novel Approach to Detecting the Salinization of the Yellow River Delta Using a Kernel Normalized Difference Vegetation Index and a Feature Space Model

open access: yesSustainability
Using the kernel normalized difference vegetation index (KNDVI) to monitor soil salinization has great advantages; however, approaches using KNDVI and a feature space model to monitor salinization have not yet been reported.

CDK11 inhibition induces cytoplasmic p21WAF1 splice variant by p53 stabilisation and SF3B1 inactivation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.

Vegetation Growth Dynamic and Sensitivity to Changing Climate in a Watershed in Northern China

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2022
Global climate change profoundly influences the patterns of vegetation growth. However, the disparities in vegetation responses induced by regional climate characteristics are generally weakened in large-scale studies.

Fluid and Neuroimaging Biomarkers in Microgliopathy Colony‐Stimulating Factor‐1 Receptor‐Related Disorders

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective This study aims to identify both fluid and neuroimaging biomarkers for CSF1R‐RD that can inform the optimal timing of treatment administration to maximize therapeutic benefit, while also providing sensitive quantitative measurements to monitor disease progression.
