A Real‐Data‐Driven Framework for Evaluating Differential Transcript Usage Methods Across Long‐Read Bulk, Single‐Cell, and Spatial Transcriptomics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Grounded in real biological RNA‐seq data, the framework benchmarks ten differential transcript usage (DTU) methods across short‐read bulk, long‐read bulk, long‐read single‐cell, and long‐read spatial transcriptomics. By integrating reference transcript sets with ranked DTU results, the Transcript Set Enrichment Score (TSES) identifies data‐type ...

NESZ effects on wind retrievals from Gaofen-3 SAR wave mode data

open access: yesFrontiers in Earth Science
This study analyzes the effects of noise equivalent sigma zero (NESZ) on wind retrieval accuracy based on the estimated NESZ and wind retrievals from Gaofen-3 (GF3) synthetic aperture radar (SAR) wave mode data. The NESZ was estimated from the normalized

Temperature‐Modulated MEMS Gas Sensor Array Enabled by Physics‐Informed Deep Learning for Thermal‐Runaway Characteristic Gas Discrimination

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents a 2 × 2 integrated single‐chip MEMS gas sensor array with temperature modulation and deep learning for discriminating thermal‐runaway characteristic gases. The array generates distinct temperature‐modulated response patterns for four characteristic gases (H2, CO, CH4, and CO2), while a HK‐MoE model is developed to achieve robust ...

A Compact and Fast Single‐Spike TTFS Encoder With Ultralow Operating Voltage for Efficient Neuromorphic Fourier Transform

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A Pt/TaOx/V single‐spike TTFS encoder achieves ultralow‐voltage (∼0.35 V), high‐speed (∼100 ns) operation with simplified circuitry. Integrating bipolar nonuniform temporal encoding with a spiking‐DFT neuron model enables a neuromorphic FFT framework. Device‐calibrated simulations demonstrate high spectral fidelity across multitone, speech, and chirp ...

Interfacial Polarization Dynamics of Nitrile Dipoles in Organic Synaptic Transistors for Acoustic Reservoir Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Interfacial nitrile dipoles unlock tunable memory in organic synaptic transistors through competing polarization and relaxation. Their finite time dynamics are directly harnessed for acoustic reservoir computing, delivering 97.17% spoken digit recognition, reliable speech emotion and snoring recognition, and an ultralow event energy of only 50 aJ ...

Experimental Demonstration of Temporally Aware Fault‐Tolerant Sensor Fusion Using Memristive Associative Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
In dynamic driving scenarios, the proposed approach ensures only temporally aligned sensor inputs to make driving decisions, preventing false activations. By enabling selective hardware‐level learning, it achieves fast, reliable responses under noisy conditions.
