Normalizers of Irreducible Subfactors
We consider normalizers of an irreducible inclusion $N\subseteq M$ of $\mathrm{II}_1$ factors. In the infinite index setting an inclusion $uNu^*\subseteq N$ can be strict, forcing us to also investigate the semigroup of one-sided normalizers.

Cohomology of infinite groups realizing fusion systems
Given a fusion system $\mathcal{F}$ defined on a $p$-group $S$, there exist infinite group models, constructed by Leary and Stancu, and Robinson, that realize $\mathcal{F}$. We study these models when $\mathcal{F}$ is a fusion system of a finite group $G$

At low cell density, SETDB1 and YAP1 accumulate in the nucleus. As cell density increases, the Hippo pathway is gradually activated, and SETDB1 is associated with increased YAP1 phosphorylation. At high cell density, phosphorylated YAP1 is sequestered in the cytoplasm, while SETDB1 becomes polyubiquitinated and degraded by the ubiquitin–proteasome ...

Torsion Groups with the Norm of pd-Subgroup of Finite Index
The authors study the relations between the properties of torsion groups and their norms of $pd$-subgroups. The norm $N_G^{pdI}$ of $pd$-subgroups of a group $G$ is the intersection of the normalizers of all its $pd$-subgroups or a group itself, if the ...

Bone metastasis in prostate cancer (PCa) patients is a clinical hurdle due to the poor understanding of the supportive bone microenvironment. Here, we identify stearoyl‐CoA desaturase (SCD) as a tumor‐promoting enzyme and potential therapeutic target in bone metastatic PCa.

Normalizers of Operator Algebras and Reflexivity
The set of normalizers between von Neumann (or, more generally, reflexive) algebras A and B, (that is, the set of all operators x such that xAx* is a subset of B and x*Bx is a subset of A) possesses `local linear structure': it is a union of reflexive ...

β‐TrCP overexpression enhances cisplatin sensitivity by depleting BRCA1
Low levels of β‐TrCP (Panel A) allow the accumulation of BRCA1 and CtIP, which facilitate the repair of cisplatin‐induced DNA damage via homologous recombination (HR) and promote tumor cell survival. In contrast, high β‐TrCP expression (Panel B) leads to BRCA1 and CtIP degradation, impairing HR repair, resulting in persistent DNA damage and apoptosis ...

AZD9291 has shown promise in targeted cancer therapy but is limited by resistance. In this study, we employed metabolic labeling and LC–MS/MS to profile time‐resolved nascent protein perturbations, allowing dynamic tracking of drug‐responsive proteins. We demonstrated that increased NNMT expression is associated with drug resistance, highlighting NNMT ...
