Non-epithelial and Metastatic Neoplasms of the Nose and Paranasal Sinuses
Capillary haemangioma is a common lesion which has often been designated ‘pyogenic granuloma’ on the basis of the active inflammatory exudate between the blood vessels. Inflammation is frequent in nasal tumours, particularly if they are polypoid, and so is unlikely to be related to the origin of this condition.
