Phytochemistry, 1967Abstract From the heartwood of Nothofagus fusca were isolated taxifolin, catechin, aromadendrin, quercetin, kaempferol, naringenin, ellagic acid, gallic acid, resveratrol, 3,3′-di- O -methyl ellagic acid and a compound “nothofagin” with properties consistent with those of a mono-C-glycoside of 4,2′,4′,6′-tetrahydroxy-dihydrochalcone.
