IVAH: Invisible-Region Augmented Human Rendering From Monocular Images

open access: yesIEEE Access
Most neural radiance field (NeRF)-based human rendering methods rely on per-subject optimization or multi-view data input to reconstruct the 3D radiance field of human subjects.

Novel view synthesis for stereoscopic cinema [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 1st international workshop on 3D video processing, 2010
Novel view synthesis methods consist in using several images or video sequences of the same scene, and creating new images of this scene, as if they were taken by a camera placed at a dierent viewpoint. They can be used in stereoscopic cinema to change the camera parameters (baseline, vergence, focal length...) a posteriori, or to adapt a stereoscopic ...

Synthesis of New Iminocoumarins Bearing Parabanic Moieties [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The synthesis of novel substituted 3-p-nitro-phenyliminocoumarins and corresponding N-ureaiminocoumarins is described. The condensation of these materials with oxalyl chloride leads to the corresponding N-parabanic iminocoumarins, which have not ...

View transformation and novel view synthesis based on deep learning

open access: yes, 2023
Novel View Synthesis (NVS) allows the generation of target images with different views from a single input image or multiple images while view transformation is a key intermediate step for the task.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Depth-Gradient-Guided Decoupled Optimization in 3D Gaussian Splatting for Sparse-View Reconstruction

open access: yesApplied Sciences
3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) achieves high-quality novel-view synthesis under dense inputs but suffers from severe overfitting and geometric artifacts in sparse-view settings.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Object-Wise Video Editing

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
Beyond time frame editing in video data, object level video editing is a challenging task; such as object removal in a video or viewpoint changes. These tasks involve dynamic object segmentation, novel view video synthesis and background inpainting ...

V4D: Voxel for 4D Novel View Synthesis

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics
Neural radiance fields have made a remarkable breakthrough in the novel view synthesis task at the 3D static scene. However, for the 4D circumstance (e.g., dynamic scene), the performance of the existing method is still limited by the capacity of the neural network, typically in a multilayer perceptron network (MLP).
