In this study, the mechanical response of Y‐shaped core sandwich beams under compressive loading is investigated, using deep feed‐forward neural networks (DFNNs) for predictive modeling. The DFNN model accurately captures stress–strain behavior, influenced by design parameters and loading rates.

Compositional noise in nozzles with dissipation
We propose a physical model to predict indirect noise generated by the acceleration of compositional inhomogeneities in nozzles with viscous dissipation (non-isentropic nozzles). First, we derive the quasi-one-dimensional equations from the conservation laws of multicomponent flows.
